A geographer and anthropologist should be in awe as to how the world, the sky, rocks, living things, how the snow, the rain and so on came into existence in an orderly manner. Science isn't enough to explain how things came into being. Read the biography of Michael Faraday and a host of others and you will know there's a powerful being behind the world created. If you don't believe, good for you. If you feel your current belief is redemption, then, good luck.

As a former Christian you should know the Parable of the sower.... in a nutshell... not all seeds the sower scatter will fall on fertile soil ... germinate and grow up to produce fruit. Does a fisherman not cast his net because he may not catch a net full of fish?
