The Supreme Court has stood down judgment in the suit challenging the election of Governor Emeka Ihedioha of Imo State.

The apex court took the decision on Tuesday while hearing the appeal filed by the candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in the March 9 election, Senator Ifeanyi Ararume.

Senator Ararume filed the appeal to challenge Governor Ihedioha’s election after he lost at the Imo State Governorship Election Tribunal and the Court of Appeal.

The Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Tanko Muhammad, chaired a seven-man of justices that presided over the hearing of the appeal.

Why is the supreme court embarrassing itself like this? Were these cases not programmed for ruling @ the day appointed.Something is just fishy about all the SC abracadabra these days.

The word "stood down" is a new addition to d plethora of grammatical jargon aimed at confusing keen observers. Whatever it turns out in d end, d judiciary should not tempt d perseverance of Imo electorates. I stand with Ihedioha mandate

Congrats to the winners...
The losers should go and sit down because there is no difference between them and the winners.

The jurisprudence of the supreme court has fallen to the lowest of low. They are only supreme by law but by the dispensation of justice, they have failed Nigeria!

No worry yourself.. Father Mbaka will come up with an explanation and his followers will believe.

He may come and say something like his prophesy is for 2027.. something something sha.. they can always say something to justify why their predictions failed
