She died in an accident on her way back to Lagos. She had travelled for a wedding three days prior so when I saw her, she wasn't even in Lagos.

I believe you. This event happened to me January 1st 1995.I slept over at my friend place after dragging me to his church new year Eve service,he was hoping it will make me a believer in the coming year.
I left his place around 8am,on getting close to my residence i saw this crowd,mostly women looking sad and some with teary eyes, I did not bother to ask what was happening until I got home and was told.my neighbour died. I was shocked because I saw this dead neighbour sitting among the crowd of women I saw on my way home. I still ask my self till date if I saw right

It did, but she wasn't in Lagos then. She was on her way back to Lagos that morning when it happened. Sadly enough she was the only one who died in the vehicle.

A quarter mile from her house we were stopped at a light. We were attentive because no person or vehicle was coming in the other direction to trigger the light to stop us.

I saw a floating figure of a lady walk across the crosswalk without her feet touching the ground. I was frozen with fear.

When we got home after a few minutes my friend casually asked me if we were going to talk about the floating lady or not. I didn’t even think she saw it and I thought I had a few beers too many.

So we started asking questions and a neighbor confirmed that he’s seen it too and was of a lady that got killed at the intersection.

If i was to reconnect with an old friend who wasn't married that last time i knew him, i would go through him not through his spouse i have never met. Judging by the age and putting the timeline together, thaddeus was not married during the war and was likely a child soldier ,so how come the friend who will probably be in the same age group as thaddeus ed his wife whom he doesn't even know? If at all this case is true, this is a case of possible kidnapping not even ghost disappearance.

Except the op is saying ghost thaddeus was already married during the war and subsequently had the op's friend in his ghost state after the war. So we will now conclude the op's friend is a hybrid of half ghost half human.

nope non knew about his death.... he was on leave from. his place of work @ Abj. during the leave he came home to see his mum (my granny) @ awka. few days later he got Ill and died same time my grandpa his dad died also but been a youth he was buried few days after. now no one in the family not even my mum who he was closest to knew his friends in Abj, where he worked or lived and as such they had no idea that he was dead.
