mikkiz: Nice post from you! But unfortunately the above steps on how to prepare an application doesn't add up/work in all cases, owning to the fact that I have recently noticed there is no blueprint for this visa process and also no set out standards as to the requirements/conditions the Canadian visa officer's follow when accessing the overall eligibility of an applicant's application. I know two applicants who got rejected recently, one was an undergraduate candidate who just finished highschool and the parents were her sponsor with adequate funds and home ties, the second was a fresh engineering graduate, completed his NYSC earlier this year but was rejected. Whereas, applicants with over 16 years study gaps are now the ones getting visas. Hence, why I said the above steps put forward by you can't guarantee a successful Canadian study visa application. There is no particular section in the law guiding Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) and Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations (IRPR), where it was stipulated that applicants will have to wait for so long (1 year) after visa rejection before reapplying. Either it stated that once an applicant can prove that his/her current circumstance has substantively changed with additional documents/information that might be deemed useful are welcome to reapply. Waiting for so long before reapplying makes no difference, if you can't proof that your current situation merits the issuance of a study Visa. Why am I saying all this?, applicants without the above narration/profile from you can still apply for their visas and stand a chance to be approved. 12 Likes 1 Share |

Yes because you'll draw unnecessary attention to Nigerians applying. Isn't this obvious? emeify1: 1 Like |

Hello everybody! Please, I need an advice. My school is in British Columbia but I am traveling through Toronto, am I going to be issued my Study Permit at the POE? Thanks! |
Frankrobbn1: 3:48pm On Oct 29, 2019 |
tosinobikoya49: tosinobikoya49: From your previous post it appears that you've not been called for medicals. Following this, a decision has already been reached on your application which is a refusal, I'll advise you pick up your port at the VAC, defer your ission to the next available term and subsequently prepare for a reapplication. It shall end in praises. |

skirmish: Your study permit will be issued at Toronto since thats the major international airport where travellers coming into Canada always stop at for immigration clearance. 2 Likes |

skirmish:Any particular reason why you are going through that route and not directly to the city where your school is located? |

mcobex: Ease of travel. May I know why you are asking? |

Evening house... please I have a quick question... my mom is a dual citizen of Nigeria and she lives and works there... can I use her sponsorship letter and bank statements to apply for study visa in Canada even tho she may not have up to 10million the but has a steady job over there in ... IfeoluwaPelumi7: I regret to hear your study visa was rejected. PLEASE REFER TO MY POST AS AT 2017, your refusal grounds have been adequately explained by me in that post. Feel free to ask your questions here should you require further guidance. It shall end in praises. 2 Likes |

Larryhillz28: Of course! nothing stops you from using your mom's German bank statement for your visa application to Canada. However, ensure that the funds in her is sufficient enough to cover for your first year tuition and living expenses and also have some left for her personal welfare. Her steady funds over there isn't enough proof of funds, her bank statement tells more about her financial establishment. So work on her financial statement before applying. I hope this helps All the best! |

Alkidam: Sorry about the outcome of your application. Have you tried tracking your port using the local tracking number that was issued to you after your biometrics? |
Frankrobbn1: 4:29pm On Oct 29, 2019 |
Marshall008: It's very possible provided that you've sufficient funds to cover for your travelling expenses, cost of your studies and living expenses for both of you as well as home ties that can compel your return home after studies. Another method is you applying alone while your wife files for a SOWP to accompany you after you've secured your TRV. |

Joshnerl: Minimum 2-3 months for a master's program and 1-2 months for an undergraduate program. I hope this helps. |
