Sometimes ago I was held in a very terrible hold up while travelling to Ibadan from Lagos(My actual destination was Akure but decided to the night in Ibadan)

I got to Berger at around 10:30p.m and decided I wouldn't travel to Ibadan again. So, I decided to get an hotel around Mowe, the night there and leave for Akure very early. I boarded a bus to Mowe and along the way I started a discussion with the guy sitting next to me, we chatted all the way down and I discovered he once lived in Ondo, he is an Akoko man like myself.

He persuaded me not to go to an hotel and that I can just the night at his place, I was hesitant but I gave in. He has a wonderful family the wife was warm in receiving me, we gisted for hours, I ate and slept and continued my journey the following day.

I wish all Nigerians can be like this, cos I would have done the same, but people like Jay is the reason why some people would rather not be kind but be SAFE...
