Some are there just to play music,
Some are there as medical aides etc...
Some build things like this in war front as well,
to barricade the enemies or to make a way to get to them.
And they are all soldiers.

The problem with Nigeria is ignorance.. what do you think the Nigerian Army corp of Engineers(Sappers) is meant for??

The army is not meant for fighting only, Soldiers provide medical and humanitarian aid when necessary.
They build roads and maintain bridges when called upon by the federal government.. Ask Obasanjo when he was an officer in NACE, they built and maintained the Lagos/Ibadan expressway and lot of roads in Nigeria..

try to be sure of something before you comment.. When FG needs cheap labour, they call on the military... its just that boko haram is wearing us thin, if not, you'd see more of this from us.

If only the army will continue in this way and not Intimidate ,beat and shoot civilians. If they can get the of the civilians they can Excel and be victorious even in the war AGAINST Boko Haram. Because if you notice when a Nigerian soldier is killed in combat the very people he died for is even happy he died some won't even care sef that's because of the military's bad Image and the harassment and shooting of civilians by the military.
