Mi is coined from Xiaomi, MIUI is an android UI or skin like Samsung's One UI and every other android OEMs UI with its own unique features.
Second space is a feature that lets you manage another space independent of the main one for privacy, you can keep files, install apps etc

Why not use another phone to create a Hotspot and then try to use your phone's wifi to connect. See if it works.

Go to Gsmarena and see the full specs. RN8 is more power efficient than the RN7. The camera sensor Samsung GM2 is an improvement over the GM1 on the RN7. It has lenses not available (Ultrawide and macro) on the RN7. 90% screen to body ratio meaning thin bezels.
