I was at the embassy today and I saw the large number of student applicants for visa, I asked Mr Paulinus why this large number and because we relate well he said today marks the last day of student visa interview for winter 2019.

It therefore means there won't be issuing out any appointment date again for now till summer applicant.

A girl came to make enquiry that she has apply since may cat b and no dates till now, Paulinus said he tire for the thing self oooo, even his pastor friend son is having the same issue and he is handicap to help because he has no control on that.

Please start writing to you schools for difer or start arranging your documents for summer application.
A word is enough for the wise.

I don't understand you , they gave me date of Oct 22nd for winter. It does not make sense to me that today is the last day. Are they going to send back people they already gave date tomorrow and so on?

just got back from the East -(terrible airtel network service in my village ) to see tons of posts and most of them AM testimonies and AD too, this is so good to see. may all the hard work never go in vain.

Congrats o. But I have question. Why did your visum take over two weeks to come after your AM?
Did u submit an SL with port and insurance or BA? just wondering

A lot of stories but it ended in praise having struggled since 2017. 1 visa rejection, three weeks sleepless night to get AD and a long waiting of 12 weeks to get AM.
I wish to acknowledge every single effort & selfless dedication any member of this noble group have rendered towards my success stories. Ich liebe sie alle.
I will still encourage us not to hesitate to lift others knowing that it is by lifting that we will be lifted.
AXA Marsurd is good for traveling insurance and it is cheaper. I used 92 days for three months @ #14,307.03.
For booking of flight, either sky scanner or studentuniverse from your app store. Use them to check your suitable date of departure. (use one-way) to economise your money and book at your convenience.

Enrollment deadline was initially 29th August...had to request for an extension which was granted & those elapses on 26th September.

Am at a real fix at the moment...only a miracle is all I need

The new rule now is that Category A is for degree holders whose degrees is not older than 2017. Everyone else is Category B.

Hello good people of nairaland,

I have tried to get information from the embassy through emails but it has been difficult. A lady with a one year old daughter is going for student visa interview (category A, she's a masters candidate) next week and is applying for the daughter to be issued visa as well.
1. How much does she need to block in her ?
2. Would she need to go to the interview with her daughter?
3. What additional documents would she have to go with?

Firstly you might have to apply for another Bachelors degree cos doesn’t recognize Hnd for Masters application(Maybe in extreme cases). The new rule states that you can only apply for Cat A, if your first degree( first class & second class upper)is from 2017. Which means any degree from 2016, 2015, 2014 etc can no longer book Cat A. You’d have to apply for Cat B. All applicants from November 2019 must come along with evidence of fully funded (10,232 euro) blocked . Please take your time to read through the thread.

I have noticed that too but do not fret, the embassy looks at your enrollment deadline when releasing AM.

I believe they taking their time to your SL.

I've been seeing age declaration here as one of the visa interview checklists. Is birth certificate not tenable?
Hypothetically, if it is not and you have a photocopy of age declaration (not the original), would it suffice for the interview? I've been reading funny stuffs about it!
