Most days the C320 is more fuel efficient than the C240

C320 was made mostly in so quality is good notch some C240 were made in Brazil and adviced to stay away from such

C320 had many standard feature that were optional in the C240, also the 320 was good with power and acceleration while the C240 is a slow snail.

in of maintenance well both vehicles are almost basically same, maintenance for both shouldn't be too different and isn't going to break a bank.

Both Engines are V6 explanation I can give is build design, unless you know the design of both Engines then you can determine why the mpg of both are irregular, it's same for Toyota 1mz, 3mz and 2GR, the 3.5L has a better MPG than the 3.3 and 3.0L for same vehicle class.

I use a c240 my brother a c320... the car is super cheap to maintain.. the 240 burns less fuel but isn't as light pedal as the 320 plus its acceleration drags compared to the c320.. the parts in the market are unbelievable cheap than you imagine.. its a very strong car.. I sold my Lexus for this cause it gives the same joy aside this has better control and balance..
But I would be upgrading to c300 for a taste..

C240 is 2.6l not 2.4l, you guys keep making this mistake over n over again.

Just buy new rotors or Belgium and save yourself the headache..... Resurfacing uneven rotors will cause more problems eventually.

If you like the car buy it....no car is maintenance free.
A car will serve u if take good care of it. Buy the car, experience how it performs n tell us.
Don't give in to fears.....it will ruin u.

It can be a money pit if not properly maintained and the interior falls apart with age.
Suspension is also a major blow for this car as it will keep failing especially if where you live is untarred.
I will advise you go for a Lexus is250 since that is properly styled,is more recent and economical.
The c230k is an old car tbh...no longer keeping up with the times

That's why I am asking for specific wahala,which are common with some specific car model.
Provided nothing Herculean is common with this particular model c230k 2004.
I should be able to live with normal maintenance of a vehicle.
Unless your definition of maintenance is something else.

no worry,when e don buy shocks 100k twice and work on the front legs twice at almost 200k,air issues,heating(which instantly kills the m271),flood,air conditioning which is very notorious in the w203,he will know he should have chosed another car over that machine.
Do not buy a C230k if you no get better Money,simple!
It does not tolerate abuse even for 1sec
I like how the gear fails almost instantly if you don't buy Mercedes star oil,original filters and steady going to the computer guy to reset gear so as to have proper movement.
Then you begin to wonder if you should expend that much on a car that isn't ired anymore?
