good evening, pls people I need help. I bought this VOLKSWAGEN at 2006 model for my wife, and ever since then the happiness I was looking for totally vanished. electrical faults here and there...the latest 1 now is that the car is discharging every battery that enters it. including a new battery that I bought last week. I have gone to VOLKSWAGEN market several times under 3weeks that I bought the car. please people I need help urgently.... thanks. I have also spent 180,000 that I dnt have, and yet the car is still killing me......

Na God save me.. My dad almost forced me into buying one at August last year. I firing hot prayers for Gods guidance on the eve we were supposed to go and make payment. Miraculously the next day before payment we noticed some electrical faults which the dealer couldn't fix till the following day. On getting there again God just directed us to one sweet 2005 Toyota camry. Since last year August I only visit mechanic to change oil. The vehicle has gone to uromi thrice. No shaking

actually, they said there's nothing wrong with it. atlst tht was what my friend told me b4 I paid. but I found out afterwards that its having electrical issue b4 I sent it to the VOLKSWAGEN market at iyanitire.

Anyone buying any at B5, B5.5, B6 should have themselves to blame. Very wicked and terrible thing to own after warranty expires, a terribly evil car to buy if Nigerian Used. Then the most greatest evil disaster to buy if its converted and also Nigerian Tufiakwa!

Oga at is one of the best car u can buy and very easy to maintain. Only if u get thr European spec. I have used 1999 model 2003 model and 2007 model. May be the car u bought has been fiddled with by all these kazeems. Just run a comprehensive scan on the car and replace not repair any faulty parts on the car

I already said something about car butcher before you can attest to this ; I always give people price of tokumbo and price of a butchered spare parts from an accidental cars. 2. Car butcher is a business of its own entirely when I buy this cars I auction them to people selling Nigerian use parts, the body and wire to aboki the engine to those who will pieces the engine and those who buy other useful items like fuel pump and other things the bonnet the doors the seats, the car stereo is and the underneath etc. Then I make my own profit from it. 3. I buy most of this cars and sell to people who wants to fix and use at a good price then make my little profit as well. This is business my brother and we are in 21century I double my hustle genuinely and sincerely. People from nairaland buy from me but most of them don't like being mentioned here. Please stop misunderstanding the car butcher thing bro. Change/check the alternator. Make sure the earth wire for the alternator is properly fixed. Talking from experience.

MILLYWAYS:Scan scan scan Check your alternator, to be sure it's performing its function Did you install new parts like car stereo/reverse camera? Those can drain your battery Check electrical connections using the fuse box to ground technique. Get a good and patient electrician. |

MILLYWAYS: Battery drain after a poorly done electrical job is a possibility on any car brand. Get a rewire that can troubleshoot using a multimeter to isolate the parasitic drain. It would be hard due to all these modules that remain awake normally after you shut down the car but it can be done Start from the recent repairs and work backwards.
