My decision to go to poly was because JAMB seized my result first time. Second time, fuel scarcity under Abacha affected my mobility to proceed to UNIBEN to process ission from Lagos. I was fed up and settled for ission to Yabatech as I wrote the exams the second year I wrote JAMB. Mind you my score was 182/300 polyjamb and 562/600 JAMB. Polytechnic is not inferior to University but people like you in Nigeria have made certificates worthless. See your Tacha, so called graduate in English from a "University of Education" with poor grammar and weak vocabulary repertoire.

The quality of schools have dropped since your time, today, most polytechnic graduates are required to get a University degree to be promoted to certain positions in their places of work, even the University graduates need Masters Degrees.

It is a different time and society, besides, Yabatech is in a class of its own
