Hello Seyewest and co. I recently renewed my Nigerian port but my USA visa is in my expired port. Although they cancelled without prejudice the remaining pages in the old one, I told them to leave out the valid visas which they did.
My question is: how can I enter the USA? Do I send my new port to the American embassy to seal another visa? Or do I travel with both ports?
Anyone experienced this before?

By the way on a lighter note if really you be Ajaladtraveller you for know this simple matter na instead of having unnecessary HBP. Hehehehehe.

Yes I am 100%. I have friends who work with the Department of Homeland Security. One thing I notice about them is their humility. And you lack that virtue. I even doubt if you have complete papers in the States.

Free that guy,,, he's just trying to be relevant.......

He doesn't sound like an American.

Let him keep fooling around!

Travel with both port, you have nothing to worry about, your new port will be stamped while the visa on the expired port is valid.
Safe trip.

Hello House! I hail o!

My American fiancée, we met online not too long ago, but we got real and true love for each other. She is coming to visit me in Nigeria soon with her mom and relatives ane they will be staying for weeks or month. So we can all get to know each other and know my family too. What are the things we should do during their visit? Should we do engagement ceremony( my friends want to wear aso ebi grin ) How do I gather proofs that our relationship is genuine? Any ideas on topics to discuss on our first date? Tips, tips, tips and tips, I need so as not to flop, I never date Yankee girl before o(ayam a village boy with a big head grin ) Shey make I give her belle before she go back?(Lol just kidding)

Be yourself and if this is your first meeting, I don't think it's wise to propose, let them enjoy Nigeria, I'm sure they will come back for visit.
Good luck

Bro we have been too far on the love matter o. I know her dad, mom, siblings and they know me too. I'm not in a rush for marriage though. I just want to know what and what I should do so as to gather proofs of genuine relationship off the visit, as it will be needed when I wanna visit her in the states. Thanks.

Good afternoon Nairalanders! I currently work in a company in Nigeria that has international branch in US. I am thinking of reg soon. I want to apply for a visiting visa to united states to visit my cousins who have been there for many years now. I am thinking if I am granted the visa and locate the company over there and apply for any vacant position, do I have any chance of been given the job, even if i dont have a work permit? or is there a way the company can help me get the work permit? The job I plan applying for over there is a security officer job. Pls I need advice.

You know what you're about to do is illegal and you want us to help you? Good luck no one is gonna help you here.

I wouldn't advice you to quit your current job even after you get the US visa.

When you get to the US you can use that opportunity to apply and visit the company and if in case you are called for an interview. During the interview you should be able to tell the recruiter that you're still working at the same branch of the company in Nigeria.

If they really need you the company should be able to put in paperwork for a work permit for you so that when you return back to Nigeria you would have had all the documents from the company to apply for a US work visa and may be granted.

I'm new here. Now I know. But honestly its not a plan, I only thought if it's possible I could give it a shot. If it really is illegal then I'm not doing it. I'm not ready to live without peace of mind.
