It was one man that looks like a nerd that asked me probing situational question. I kept my answers brief so they didn't get the chance to rush me.

upfront is the amount (mostly allowances) paid to an employee at once yearly at the beginning of the year or start of a working period. Some companies don't do upfront and instead merge the allowances into your monthly salary. So for example if employee A is to resume work at Company A Jan 1st 2020, and Employee B is to resume work at Company B , Jan 1 2020 too keeping in mind that Company A does upfront system and Company B doesnt and that both employees get the same salary

Employee A's salary would be : 1.2m upfront plus 100k monthly , meaning on Jan 1st, his would receive alert of 1.2m, and then subsequently at the end of each month alerts of 100k. On Jan 1st 2021, he would receive another alert of 1.2m, and 100k monthly subsequently and so on ...

On the other hand,

Employee B's salary would be (1.2m/12 + 100k) monthly which is 200k monthly. He would get that till his salary is increased.

Some people prefer A while others prefer B.

I prefer A sha in cases of large upfront like oil companies give... lol

Exactly bro. my answer to a particular behavioral question was rejected twice and they asked me to try again each time until I got it right (according to them)
The question was
"tell us about a personal goal you had and how you achieved it "
My 1st answer was "I had a personal goal to improve my skills in computer networking so I went for a professional course on that during my internship and now I have a certificate on computer networking"

They said no, it's not a personal goal rather it is a requirement for my field an a computer science graduate and asked me to try again

My 2nd answer was " I had a personal goal to impact on the community where I was doing my PPA during NYSC and so I decided to transfer some of my acquire skill during SAED to the youths of the community" ...
they said no, it must be something I did for myself.
And they asked me to try again again lol

Lastly "I told them that when I gained ission to the University, I didn't have a personal computer, so I set a goal for myself to get one as soon as possible" And they asked me how did I achieve it, I told them that worked part-time and saved money ( for where... na for street I pick the money ooo ) wasn't easy, but I thank God I was able to give my best. It will end in praise and testimony

Do they deduce it from your credentials during screening or what we filled online?
Also in the grading system, is a masters degree an advantage?
What is the estimated grade level for 7-9years experience + M.Sc?

I shared similar question. Based on the advert criteria, minimum yrs for senior officer ss4 is 6yrs and supervisor ss3 is 9yrs. But would candidate wt the exact 6yrs and d one wt 8yrs be placed on same level? Bc 8yrs has ed ss4 but doesnt reach ss3

There is nothing like "step" in the nnpc grading. You will most likely be placed on SS4 and be promoted after 3 years.
