in the meantime, how about the column that says "Your transcript of records has to be officially notified by an official institution" (e.g. your university, a lawyer or by us) as i have a student copy of my transcript with me.

You have to certify your transcript. You can't send them ordinary photocopies. Certify your documents at recognised institutions: high court, public notaries, embassy or your university (you can certify your Certificate and transcripts at the registrar's office in your university)
Even if it's student copy you have, make photocopies and Certify them

I noticed y'all applied to Ruhr University bochum. The thing is i can't seem to figure something out. After the online application, are we supposed to send the hard copy document to DE?
Because there is no instruction on the portal or email instructing me to do such, I only received a mail containing an application ID with a link for me to be checking the application status till its updated.

Yes fulda accept letter of English proficiency but u have to apply tru Uni-assist. However, I don't think application is still on as some courses deadline is either May 15th or 31st.

You will need to visit the school website again for possible courses open for application.

I applied to both schools but Cologne sent me a mail that they were excluding my application cos I didn't have up to 18ects in Economics.

On the other hand, Niederrhein sent me a mail that they had received my application from uni-assist. They made it clear that they will only take 2 non EU applicants.

I also chose the school, please, what's your proposed course of study. Mine is International management. Make we align abeg.

I helped a friend apply for economics.. Had same confusion, so I mailed them. They said I only need certified copies and I shouldn't send any copy by post...

My program is an online application. I didn't send documents.

When I got to the part they ask If I wanted to apply for language course, I clicked no. That was all. The application process gave me headache. A lot of instructions were in German. Just use Google translate to know the exact instructions being given and use chrome browser as well

I don't have German language proficiency. I was referring to my English language Proficiency.
Ideally, it takes 3 months to achieve one level.
You should be able to meet A1 before you leave.

Yeah. I believe their first batch of ALs were sent on that date.

If you have a BSc with at least final grade of 2.2 you can book Category A even if you're going for a second Bachelors. The people who were turned back at the embassy had Hnd and were going for BSc. Category A dates come within 24 to 72 hrs of booking while Category B peeps have been waiting for 5 weeks now, no date

Someone with HND (Distinction) going for BSc was interviewed with category A.

Now, there are different modes for different courses I guess. I applied for MSc Biochemistry and MSc Developmental Stem cell biology. I've submitted online application for both, only to receive a mail last week from the Stem Cell guys requesting me to an application form from their course website, fill it and combine it into 1 PDF file with some documents they listed for me in the mail. I was then told to send the combined documents via email to them before July 15.

I added this just to clear your doubts, and assure you that you're on track. If there was a problem with the online application, I'm sure you'd have been mailed to that effect. But since there's none, just hope and pray for the best.

I'm sorry about the rejections so far. I guess they are a part of the process too. I've received not less than 15 of them over here. But we won't allow it to dampen us. Good news await you very soon.

iSTEM didn't ask me to post any document, but I applied to the department as written on the website (and sent to a particular email) before the university application (ing and all).

So the application form you were asked to doesn't actually mean you've been offered ission. It's like the application are in stages. Hmmm
