Is ronaldo a defender like canavaro or a midfielder like modric, I guess d ans is no. Ur position goes a long way in being a determining factor when u r being assessed. Messi will be assessed based on being a forward y van dirk will b assessed based on being a defender just as manuel neure was assessed based on being a goalkeeper. So if Rinaldo is assessed as a forward, has he done better than messi individually this past season to warrant d win bcus if u talk about trophy then Bernardo Silva has a claim
