The Sit-At-Home directive by the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has ed total compliance in Abia and Delta state. IPOB had declared a 'Sit-At-Home' in the southeast and south-south, which according to them, is to honor those who died in the struggle for Biafra. In Aba, there were no commercial activities or vehicular movements at the time of filing this report. >> https://grovenaija360.com/ipob-sit-at-home-aba-records-total-compliancetotal-shutdown-photos/ 18 Likes 2 Shares |

ALMUSTAQIM: You would do well to respect yourself and mind your business! If Biafrans/IPOB/Igbos decides to sit at home or not, how does it concern a Igbo hating bigot like you? Isn’t it your ilk that like to parrot on and on about how the aforementioned groups are inconsequential in the scheme of things, so why visit their thread and start giving your unsolicited two cents? 63 Likes 2 Shares |

Today is a day of celebration in all the Igbo land, because our warriors fought like lions with little Arsenals to a more equipped Nigerian army, yet we fought the war with purpose. Today ,is a day of sober reflection,a day to reflect on how the war have affected us(ndi Igbo),affected how we cohabitate with non ndi Igbo,is a day to reflect on the prism which other Nigeria see us(Igbo),how do we see our selves,in this geographical expression(according to Awolowo) called Nigeria,do we see our selves as citizens,do other tribes that make up Nigeria see us as Nigerians, because what I can see on nairaland, they don't see us as one, that is a question for another day. As a secondary school boy,I was opportuned to watch the truth and reconciliation commission, been headed by a well respected Justice,His lordship, justice chukwudifu Oputa, popularly known as oputa ,where a victim of the civil war gave his ,I too well; in given his s,on how the Nigerian army committed serious pogrom,on the defenceless women and children, according to United nation charter, women, children and the elderly are not suppose to be harmed, but the Nigerian nation, disregarded it,and the commander in chief,in the person of Gowon, gave the Nigerian army the matching other to kill anything on sight,in the process they massacred, which made the British broadcasting correspondence (BBC) to say,and I quote, "a night have fallen on biafran land",he said so,because no signs of living things in sight. So,am calling on ndi Igbo,to take today serious, and observe it to the fullest in a civil manner. Ndi Igbo are striving,in every sector of the Nigerian economy, our cities are back after all the destructions,I celebrate the indefatigable spirit we have, our moral fibres is incomparable to known. Ndi Igbo, igwe bu Ike,. R.I.P to the biafran soldiers

I'm neither an igbo man nor a Biafran, but I strongly commemorate with you because it's worth it. May the souls of the departed find rest in the hereafter, (amen). 50 Likes 2 Shares |

Nigeria is a useless country. No single remembrance day for those who died in the biafran struggle. They want to erase history but they can't. An average igbo man believes in the struggle to actualize Biafra. Our people stayed home today not because of fear or intimidation but to honour our brothers and sisters who died in the struggle. 15 Likes |

But why is it paining Yorubas that Igbos take today as a day of remembrance for fallen heroes. I mean, why are these folks so pained. They've been on every thread expressing their pains, u can almost feel it, just because Igbos decide to stay at home. Is it in you sw region they're doing the sit home? Why are you angry for another person's business. Nawa for this tribalism o. I'm tired of this country aswear 20 Likes 1 Share |
