Nobody should take this sham of an election serious. This is the worst election in Nigeria's history and Buhari winning is an insult on the sensibilities of Nigerians, this is what we warned about that it was going to be heavily rigged.

jayloms: Even if Atiku won...so long as oil prices don't rise above $140..that's the magic number...the economy would still be bad. In January 2015...Ngozi Okonjo Iweala, was already prediciting and prophesiying that the economy was in a bad way...whoever won. By then, oil had been dropping for 7 months. Yes, Buhari should have appointed cabinet ministers, and yes, he should have hit the ground running. But even if Buhari had appointed ministers the second he took the oath of office, nothing would have changed. And if oil prices had gone up under Buhari...yes, things would have been better, but that does not make our economy good. Our economy runs on whatever the price of oil is. And we are producing oyel for 200million people (compared to Saudi that produces 5 times more our output and has 20million people...that's why they can live the good life). Where Buhari erred was that he kept on wasting money on things like subsidy, trader moni, etc. Then he did not set up a sovereign investment fund for all the savings we were doing (the Saudis learned that lesson after their economy lost $150bn in one year...without corruption, stealing etc...)And he should have sat down, told Nigerians the truth that we are a poor country, and also he should have cut excess in the National Assembly and civil service. And he was not aggressive in taking loans for power....and for heaven's sake...forcing DISCOS to charge for power below production cost? No wonder we don't have light. And Atiku wont have made things better. Apart from selling NNPC, he had zero to offer Nigerians except some vague promise of 'jobs' And he was even planning to spend far more on subsidy....which would have drained our reserves. And let's be frank...PDP is responsible for the mess we are in. GEJ threw away billions he should have saved...not that things would have been better...but if he had saved, we would have had a better buffer. And you want to vote those people again?(And how can you shout , rightly...at Gandollar, Amaechi, Tinubu...who most definetly has some issues...but we cannot prove it.....but keep quiet about Atiku's pending issue in the USA...) Anyway....as I write...it is early days. Atiku or Bubu might win. But whoever wins...Nigeria is in trobule. And the blame goes not to the parties but to people who laugh at candidates like Sowore, Moghalu.,Onasanya, etc...and go and vote for old men and women of all tribes who have nothing new to offer...except N100 for our hungry bellies. That is taken from our own pockets. 18 Likes 2 Shares |
