Thanks to all the bosses in the house for helping we the newbies out in the little way you can. I started learning on babypips about two months ago, I have completed babypips school (yes, I was that patient and I studied hard), I headed to forexfactory where I started trying out some systems under 'trading systems section', I have now found one which involves using just Fibonacci and the Stochastic Oscillator and I have been demo trading this system for days now and I must say it looks really good. Right from my days on babypips, I have always loved the Fibonacci Retracements so you can imagine my excitement when I found this system.

I know I don't know anything yet but I'm fully determined to learn. I pledge not to go live until I have an outstanding level of confidence and profitability with my demo practice. I know and accept that trades won't always go my way hence there are bound to be losses. I plan to minimise these losses through proper money management and risk to ratio setups. I won't be greedy, I will be patient always, and I will learn to look at the bigger picture.

I have tried really. I know I have. It's not easy to learn forex from scratch without an expert holding your hands. Prior to the 2 months I got committed to learning it, I would always come to this thread and read about Bulls, Bears, etc, and I would get very angry that I didn't know anything at all about any of the things being said. Look where I am now. I hope to be as meticulous as Currentprice, as confident as Tunderr (my personal favourite, I actually went through all her nairaland posts and most of them are on Forex),and to help newbies with the little I know just as Pinbar helped me understand Priceaction.

I'm ever loyal to everyone. And I will ask questions from time to time, most of which will be stupid, but please those who know should take out their time to help anyway they can. If you're in Nigeria and you're not tired of going to bed each day on an empty belly, then there's something seriously wrong with you. There's my pitch. Happy pipping everyone.

At the end of the year he has made a profit of just barely 62% for the whole year which translate to about $5K per month. But here we are undercapitalized traders trying to duplicate our balance within every 2/3 months.

My brother, it'll only take the grace of God for me to have such equity in my and be making about $250-300 per day. To go far in this trading business requires %100 discipline and not %99.9

Trade plan will be to target 200 pips for EJ and GJ respectively making 400 pips from this week to next week and see how it pans out.

Reason being that the pairs have been trending and there's a recent price rejection of the upside.

This is what I have been preaching... Seeking proper funding and keeping your targets as low as possible (to ensure low risk and proper money management) is the easiest way to sustainable trading success..

62% will be scoffed at by some who may be thinking of how they could have made more with that money but that guy will probably be trading for another 30 years while those that are making 1200% a week will crash in 6 months or less.

Here's a quote from a nice blog post: "Although it may seem “easy” in a backtest to double an every year, as a general rule, if you manage to yield an annual 20% in the next ten years with moderate drawdowns, you will be able to enter in the Champions League of trading / investing."

You're right , we are mostly undercapitalized and that's why we opt for high return which in turn is dangerous way to trade.

What's the minimum balance to start build statement from, $200, $500, $1000 ? Say 6 month statement, would that get me good funding? I'll check out the blog link you posted.

Question for you, do you think there's no one out there making good money, not some 5%/month stuff? I believe some people are special and make tonnes of cash trading forex and don't even come online to talk about it.

I believe there's no one way to trade, I'll give you an example;

Through this FX contest; You know, there's no way I could tweak my system to make 800% / week, I simply can't, no way I can achieve that result, no matter what I do BUT some can with their system.

I believe if you can trade very high risk 800-1000% / week, then you can reduce the risk substantially to make anywhere from 2-5% / month comfortably. What you think?
