I was asked to update my port as the one I ed was disapproved Does this mean I have to snap new ports entirely or do I still use the same port as the disapproved one?

no implications... you just have to revalidate in the next batch or stream... this batch is the third batch I revalidated on ...since batch a...
so no complication... just don't show up in camp and do revalidation... shikina..

I've not served before neither am I an NYSC official but from what I've gathered from the people doing revalidation, there are no adverse implications

Did u revalidate any stream? Like you were deployed in stream 1 batch a and in batch a stream 2, u revalidated and it worked.

From Experience

Revalidation button comes up at every registration.

You will only once for batch A streams 1 - 2. If you and you were deployed to stream 1 you cannot revalidate during stream 2 since there is no registration window during this period.( You can be on the look out thou, check your portal often)

But normally when the next batch 2019 begins registration, then you can revalidate.

I have revalidated twice now.
I'm sure thiings will work out for me this time.

I was deployed but didn't show up in camp cos of work.
And it was North twice.

yeah... I did
the only difference is that u won't be able to choose another state... its the state that you choose for the stream 1 that dey will still give you for stream 2....
I have seen somebody that has been revalidating since 2017 self

dude better get your facts right
you can revalidate for different batch e. g batch A-B
