I went for interview i was denied in june. Am supposed to start by Aug if my visa had been approved. However i want to reapply for interview to start by Nov as the sch allow new students to start by Nov. I had written to the sch to issue a new i-20 for bearing the nov date. They objected saying that they are told not to issue i- 20 form two times rather they will do the upgrade of my data and new starting date in their system that i should go with the old one bearing Aug date. In addition ,the sch will give me a letter of extension specifying that am to resume my Nov.
Pls friends is this arrangement ok ?
Does Nigeria US embassy aware of this rule ?

It's is better you state the exact CGPA as a third class might be 1.50 and another 2.49

I don't see anything wrong with your profile save for the fact that you're 32 and your aunty will be the one sponsoring you. I'm not saying it's wrong because I've seen people on this thread get their visa irrespective of whether they've gotten to the "standard" age where they're seen as total independents who can foot their own bills but I've also seen people denied for this sole reason.

It could also be your level of delivery and confidence.

His transcript went well, and by now I think it should be obvious that sometimes all you need is another trial, so are you suggesting he should go change school, and change his narrative thereby risking a possibility of complications. As long as your school is accredited, and you damn well know what you’re doing, one or two trials is enough to get a visa. Stop with the unnecessary importance y’all attach to ranking. I’m sure if it’s about rankings, by now everyone will know that. Your school can be an Ivy League schl, which is a plus, otherwise all you need do is sell yourself. Hello house! Please I need help from those who have been through what I'm experiencing at the moment. My interview was on July 25th in Abj. I was placed on istrative Processing for nearly two weeks and when I checked the CEAC site on the 6th of August I saw 'Refused'. I felt really bad, can't lie about that but I didn't know the scary part was incoming. I went to pick up my port and besides the pink paper, there was this white paper attached and there was one part where "Fake bank documents" was handwritten. My uncle who's also my sponsor kept assuring me that the statement of was legit even though I asked him twice before I was refused. I can swear anyday, anytime that I had no idea the statement wasn't legit. Throughout my school days I no even get mind carry expo enter exam hall not to talk of presenting an altered statement of to the US embassy that is thorough. I don't have one fraudulent bone in me. The problem is I don't know if I have been banned cos the VO warned me I'd be banned if the statement isn't authentic. Please what do I do now? I'm so confused and in a very bad place right now. The US embassy is not a place you can walk in to iron issues out. I sent a mail several days ago and still no reply. Some people are encouraging me not to wait too long before trying again so I wouldn't look guilty (with a different sponsor tho). Others think I should just give it time before trying again so I don't look suspicious when I bring two different statement of s from different sponsors within a short period of time. Please anybody with an idea should feel free to chip in. If you have been through something similar and you don't want to say anything here, please email me. I feel lost right now. First off, aside the fact that these people can just see you and decide you are not eligible for a visa, you as a person has to understand how to make the answers your own.

I feel your answer to the "why you chose your school" was generic and boring (probably the same thing 90% of the applicants have said to them). Try to own the answer, I mean, there are many better business schools than Husson, but why Husson? Make it your own answer, don't go with the flow. Don't always forget to state how important your MBA will benefit Nigeria or your place of work. Don't give generic answers here too.

I hope the SOA you presented shows you have sufficient funding for your tuition and cost of attendance?

Also, I hope the school isn't a one building university?
Did you resign or have a study leave?

I think you should refire. You might just get it now (I really hope you do). Don't forget to up your confidence level, okay?

What spamming actually means is ur repititon of the same post frequently. Your case has been attended to, don't let ur spamming let other people's cases to be over looked due to numerous post of d same issue from u.

Welcome. This is the visa thread, there are a few things you need to do/know before you get here. Also, there are questions you need to ask and answer for yourself: What do you intend studying? Do you have preferences as regards schools; are there schools you've heard about or have been eyeing? US education is quite expensive, so do you have the means? If you don't, or you feel you might be needing scholarships, it's perfectly cool, but there are tests you'll have to write. And sorry o, a personal question from me, why the US?

Answer these questions, and the house will help you progress.

yes, there were sufficient funds in the SOA of my aunt business , for my tuition and cost of attendance. there was a letter from my firm for study leave. Husson University is not one building university,

I will like to have a knowledge on this,
1. do US embassy do carry background check on your place of work like they often do for SOA authentication, do they also for where you work based on the name and address of where you work you provided in your DS-160 online form,
2. a visa applicant going for an MBA, stating that he earn 85k per month, is that an issue.

Please work on 'how did you hear about this school' and 'why this school'. It's too generic and I am sure they must have heard it hundreds of times that day. Come up with your own answers. Something they don't o hear often or they have never even heard before (let it be unique) and you will be granted. All the best. I await your testimony

Why New jersey or Texas? If you are on "a very low budget", I think that should be your major criteria while searching for schools and not location...lol...unless perhaps, you have some in those two places that complement your "very low budget"
