I applied end of May. My application paper got there after two weeks. Degree in Physics, cgpa -above 4.0 out of 5 from University of jos 2017. One related publication in optics and presentation from the American Physical Society. Don't know if that matters. My aim is to get a visa date. Sorry to derail this tread, I want to apply to public Schools in for a Masters in Electrical and communication Engineering.
The little challenge is that I don't have my transcript on hand presently-my school has a policy of only sending transcripts directly to a School/educational agency and not to graduates.
Is there anyway I can get an agency to help me receive my transcripts cos I want to apply to numerous schools(sending from my school to each of them will be very expensive 40k each).
Please I urgently need your suggestions. thank you

My school do not give transcript by hand. It is against the University policy. Yet, I got mine; same with virtually everyone in the group.

You have to try harder. You could also find any organization, polytechnic or university where u know someone to assist you with the pick-up.

You need to take your time and go through last part and this part. But as an overview that I also got from last part is....

STEPS TO TRAVEL TO (Student Visa route)
For Summer and Winter 2018.

1. Decide that you want to study in
2. Find a program/University of your choice
Tip: search daad.de, study-in de, school website etc
3. Get all required documents
4. Certify photocopy of documents at German embassy/high court/notary public
5. Apply to the university through uni-assist or directly by post to school address or school website (depends on school's direction)
6. Receive ission letter(s)
7. i) Open a block with Fintiba or Deutsche Bank
ii) or get sponsorship letter from a sponsor living in (with 1500euro monthly salary)
iii) or Scholarship
8. Book appointment for VISA interview with your ission letter, Block opening and port datapage as instructed on the German Embassy website (**policy may change)
9. Interview proper
10. Waiting period (have a doctor's number on your speed dial grin )
11. The A.M mail drops...CONGRATS
12. Get travel insurance and book flight ticket... Submit port for stamping of visa @ embassy and other documents as requested in the A.M mail

Of course a first-class cgpa qualifies but I believe that's not the only factor taken into consideration during ission decisions.
