There’s some weird pasta that I liked (to my surprise), sole filet baked in spicy tomato and grape sauce (weird but good combo) , cashew fried rice with steak. erm I think that’s it

Fish in spice tomato sauce, definitely Italian as they love their tomatoes.
The cashew fried rice sounds Thai, they love adding nuts to foods they have no business mixing them with.

That pasta is nothing like I've ever seen before, I actually thought it looked like a squid dish them Italians love eating. Literally, raw squid with a dash of lemon.
