This festive period is just a period to make money,Some will always accept clothes which they know they can't finish at the stipulated time.This behaviour caused many their freedom as they are either locked up (Police cell) by the Customer or They switch off their phones to prevent their customers from calling them.......

Most tailors should have learnt carpentery instead of fashion deg because instead of sewing clothes,,they construct clothes.


You'll show them what you want,they'll listen attentively as if they understand what you're saying.
At the end,they 'construct' whatever they like with your material.

One time I got so angry that I left the 'constructed cloth' with the tailor.
She had to get me a new material.

This is normal, you should never give your Tailor any clothes Prior to Christmas or end of the year to avoid disappointments.

I called him "the tailor" last night n he said my cloths aint ready till 30th...I was pained...like what's d need den..

I'm my own tailor.... zero disappointment

So I decided to make agbada for the first time. Normally, I would prefer senators and designers suits but because agbada is trendy, I went for it. My projection was to get it ready in Lagos since my connecting flight would be from there.
About two weeks ago I called a friend and she introduced me to a 'trusted" tailor, who would not disappoint. Well, I ed the tailor and he offered to make them for 80k each since I had the materials. He promised to make the five different designs well and on time, so I transferred a total of 400k to his . I only told him to be careful with the fabrics because I had bought them expensive during my last trip outside.

To cut the long story short, this is christmass and nothing has been done. I am just lucky that I bought a few designers suits on my way back.

I will never trust those tailors .

I heard my neighbor answering a call yesterday, from the conversation I could tell he was talking to his tailor... He was like "I know saay u never finish my clothes, all these tailors Na una way. una must disappoint, I know say u never finish my clothes" after some seconds I heard Oh! U don finish am? I no even de around sef, I don travel, I no de Kaduna right now, when I come back I go come collect am, Na how much be my balance sef??

So apparently, the bros gave tailor clothes to sew and was actually hoping the tailor disappointed because money no dey to pay balance. Thanks to Baba Buhari

My friend wedded yesterday, and up till now his wedding suit didn't come to him. Fully paid. He had to improvise. He is planning going to Aba by Wednesday to get his ass arrested . These guys are pure evil.

Who buy cloth give tailor upon all this bù.... Hardship? I m sure those who bought will either be disappointed by tailors using petrol scarcity as excuses or the owner won't have the time to giving cloth to tailor after spending days queuing for petrol
