A 3rd party like family member can help regarding meeting the financial requirement, the rule was changed recently. Read up about sponsor visa financial requirement new rule

Hey guys i need your advice...i graduated from a uk university 2016 as self sponsored, my uncle got a scholarship slot for one person which he told me to get an ission in the uk for masters in a petroleum related course. Now, should I apply for January 2018 ission? Which you know January is too soon OR get an ission for May intake?. Moreover, when applying for the ission should i put self sponsored or scholarship? Cos I don't know the name of the sponsors for now. Or should i use self sponsored and then later on tell them it's scholarship when I got the scholarship letter. Thanks

Your question is not really clear to me, you graduated from the UK last year with undergraduate degree? And you want to go back for Msc ?

What kind of scholarship slot? With an university in the UK or Nigeria govt scholarship program?

So my uncle is a member house of reps and happened to get a nigerian government scholarship slot. He just said I should get an ission in a petroleum related course. Thanks

Apply for an ission for January or May if given send your school the scholarship letter so that your school will add it to your CAS.

So you are on scholarship and not self sponsor.

If your scholarship covers everything (school fees and maintenance money) then you don't need to have any money in your for 28days.

If you have been in Nigeria for longer than 6months then you need another TB test.

You need to apply with your academic qualifications listed in your CAS, you should know this since your have studied in the UK before.

Hello all,

I submitted my Tier 4 application on priority on Monday, 13th November at Abuja TLS. I got an email from my school yesterday on the 14th November 2017 saying that their systems shows that my CAS has been used by the UKVI.

Please anyone gotten that kind of email from their school during visa application and how soon did you get your visa?

You cannot have 2 Visas running concurrently. The Visitor visa will be cancelled (without prejudice) and you will given the tier4.

GOVERNMENT SCHOLARSHIPS ARE SHARED ON THE BASIS OF NEPOTISM AND MAN-KNOW-MAN.

Imagine someone who:
1. Did not even initially plan for any Petroleum-related career.
2. Does not even have ission yet.

He is sitting down his thing jejely....his House of Reps Uncle simply called him to ask him to "manufacture" isiion anyhow in ANY petroleum related field.
So Nairalanders, no matter how brilliant you are, or how ionate you are, the criteria for benefitting from Government Scholarship is to have an Uncle in the House of reps, or in the Senate.

My maintenance money can very well be my investment money. You can get 4% roi on maintenance funds in a month, afterall you wont spend all your maintenance funds in one month.

However, I just want to know if UKVI checks and cares to know what is in the after its been accurate for 28 days.

My people, God has done it for me and my family. I am a tier 4 student, got my visa but my husband and daughter were refused visa.
We put in for istrative review and today my husband just got a message to bring his port and our daughters port that the decision has been overturned. They are ready to give them visa now. I am so excited. Thanks to God and all here for encouragement.

Please I want to confirm if he has to go along with our 2 years old daughter to Immigration office in Ikeja for the port submission? he can go alone to submit the ports? Please anyone has an idea. We need help on that please.
