I heard that the best candidate from each state of the federation is picked to fill the supplementary list for medicine.. I had close to the cut off.. I'm from Delta state.
I had to do some research using 2014 and 2015 issions as Case duties. But I found that the supplementary list for those two years were filled with yoruba Candidates, just few guys from Other geopolitical Zones..I thought perhaps some candidates from other geopolitical zones couldn't beat the general cut off which is 50...pls someone should shed more light on this cuz its my last hope.

Boss, your assumption is somehow far from being true as regards that geopolitical zone ish.

Ui doesn't have any catchment area, as a matter of fact, there was a year mbbs list was filled with igbo names.

Now, the only grace you can receive is this,


using 2015 as a case study, the cut off mark for medicine was 74, about 12-20 candidates scored 73(i might be wrong, I can't the exact figure) the committee later agreed to it all those who scored 73 since the their quota can take all of them.


Ui doesn't consider state of origin in ission process. thank you

Mehn i will not sugarcoat anything for you.Dude am sorry your chances is very low though you did well in your jamb exams. Dont have any hope this year buckle up and wake up to reality. The cutoff mark for law is going to range between 72 and 74. on a more serious note, you need to work EXTRAORDINARY hard next year because law is very competitive.learn from me 2015 i also choose law scoring 60 2016 i chose C.L.A this year i chose English education. what am trying to drive at is that you should go for courses that are less competitive. I chose CLA in 2015 too,i got 58.but went for nd mass comm. This year I opted for theatre art

Hi everyone.... First off, congratulations to guys that seem to have the dept. cut off drama sorted out; and to people not fortunate to hit the PUTME cut off mark, I wish you good in your pursuit. Try to take something from this group which is what guys like Ajet, Oldfoolnigger, Thehistorian have done which is accept what it is and preparing for what is to come. Telling the truth isn't about hating or putting people down, if you're face with the truth, it's best to accept it and not prolong the inevitable......

lol my good man no time oo it's still just some depts dat has released theirs. It kinda suprising though cos cutoff shld suppose to come out together as one list. Saw botany's list of aspirants who chose botany nd they were just 9 that ed even though I'm confusd as to how they'll just release their names nd scores
