To those who had less than 50%, please don't be discouraged, you are not a failure, the exam was not just favourable to you, I am sure you guys were expecting a better score, but what has happened has happened. UI has never considered candidates with less than 50% in her PUTME for ission, the history is there and I don't think that will change this year. It is just the bitter truth, better luck next time.

To those above 50% congratulations and I pray you all get your desired course, well it is not over yet.

It's solely determined by candidates performance FOR THAT YEAR alone.
Veterinary medicine has always been pegged at 50 because they usually have less number of aspirants who just managed to score above average (for merit)



The case is different this year, a lot of people picked vet medicine and score well enough to raise the cut off.

TThis is the time table for the determination of cut of marks.

Today is for the faculty of veterinary medicine, college of medicine, faculty of renewable resource and faculty of technology (I don't know why no one knows anything about their own cut off)

Tomorrow is for faculty of Science, arts and agriculture


Wednesday is for faculty of law, social science and education.

All cut off will be compiled after the meeting and updated on the schools website probably on Friday.
