Shiiiit that was very close!

I believe a slot in the supplementary list will be in your favour for your desired course. Have faith.

UI is causing a lot of commotion here. Read through the pages here.

We expect them to released the cutoff marks before the day after tomorrow.

Hello everyone, I will just say you guys should wait for UI to release the cut off,do not let anyone discourage you, in my own time I scored 57, (the previous year cut off was 63)...I was so discouraged but when the cut off came out it was 57,my name was on the merit list.... Cut off depends on the performance of aspirants...just stay calm and wait for the method they will use and what the cut off will be like...

The cut-off point for the departments in the college of Medicine has been decided today, it Will be out this evening or tomorrow morning. The board unanimously agreed to use 50-50 aggregate in deciding the cut-off point. What it means is that cut-off point for each departments is equal to jamb score divided by 8 plus post utme divided by 2.
It's quite unfortunate that the University of Ibadan has decided to discard the former ission policy which was based on post-utme scores only. I'll be bringing further information as regard the cut-off points this evening

I'll be glad if any UI student in the CLA department could help me with the list of courses offered in the department. At least for 100 & 200 levels
cc: mozarinia, larabae13, neurosci
Don't be offended for the mentions guys. I need to make some clarifications
CLA101-introduction to reading
CLA102-introduction to writing
CLA103-speech and public speaking
CLA106-communication and broadcasting
CLA107- can't
And they are all 2 unit courses
And you are required to borrow other courses from other dept after these courses especially english.
I don't really knw abt the 200L courses because I'm an 100L student of english, I borrowed CLA102 nd 103

Get in first before thinking of 200L courses

Your aggregate is calculated as utme /8 + post utme/2

holuwajobar:
calculate it fr me den....

jamb score = 304

post jamb= 55

I suspect mass failure in this exam, If someone with 304 could get 55 in putme... Is It that people are sharing fake scores or what??

stop peddling false news. The criteria for ission to UI still remains PUTME scores alone.
UI made a complaint as candidates that were itted last year via jamb and O level performed poorly last semeser, why then would they repeat same mistake by making use of Jamb scores to decide ission?
bukdan: 1:53pm On Oct 30, 2017
No Sir. It is confirmed. utme/8 + utme/2. And it seems the cutoffs will be reduced generally
bukdan: 1:57pm On Oct 30, 2017
Someone shared a list from Botany dept H.O.D's office. It was even clearly stated there
