secondly, since 2015,havent you had any cause to use ur bvn anywhere ?because if you have used it before anywhere else ,the anomaly would have been detected .
from all indication that bvn number isnt urs ,because you sit down for picture capturing and a number is issued for the pictured captured. which means you are trying to steal someone bvn

That's a wrong info from the customer service person can't speak for other banks though, BT I know of someone with similar issues which was resolved...its either u re-enrol with diff Bvn no or maintain the same no and they get that fvckin face off cz the error ain't from you

bvn mistake cannot be both picture and biometric at the same time , it is a different issue if the face on the is urs but biometric isnt or if the picture isnt urs and the fingerprint is urs , but in this case both the picture and the fingerprint on the bvn isnt the op own

Addition to existing first and middle name will require Valid regulatory ID card, Sworn affidavit from Court. Please note that Correction/change of Surname may require different ing/additional documents. For female due marriage must be accompanied with Marriage certificate and Newspaper publication plus regulatory ID card in either the maiden name or the new Surname. Surname change/correction (not due to marriage) for male/female required valid regulatory ID card in new Surname, newspaper publication and Sworn affidavit from Court. Kindly visit the bank of enrollment to effect the correction. Also note that your information/data have to be the same across all the banks.

only god knows what has happened to the real owner of that bvn ,infact this is a criminal case and the op should have been detained by the bank when he went to make enquiries about how to change that bvn acc picture and biometric

The picture maintained on the bank database before the advent of BVN will show the real holder. Let him approach the Bank and the Bank knows what to do if it is a case of impersonation. Cheers!!

Hello it's possible to change the picture on your BVN. A customer has encountered this before though she went through rigorous exercise before she could achieved it. You will need to revisit your bank of enrollment.

dere is a way. d bank will forward to nibbs for deletion so u can enroll afresh.

To prove that isn't difficult. Does the finger print on the data base matches his own? If yes, the mistake is then from the bank.

This is very possible. If the details of the last ed person are not saved before proceeding to enrol the next person, this kind of mismatch happens. The machine captures your fingerprint but with the previous customer's details. This happens due to carelessness on the path of the capturing officer.
The only solution is to NIBSS for deletion ( note that banks don't have the access to delete), and customer can re enroll afterwards.

The BVN IS NOT UR OWN, Put ur fingerprint on the BVN machine it will show ur real BVN( if you did ), in fact if you did bvn, immediately u go for Nims or simcard thingy it will automatically show ur BVN

Yes. it can be changed. All they have to do is logged it for NIBBS to delete it and you would be recaptured.

There are a lot of Bank Induced error during the BVN rush.
