Hello Everyone, please I was suppose to write my Audit graduate trainee test last week Saturday. but I rescheduled through that same e-mail that invited me.
But have not gotten any reply yet
Anytime I call the Hr number and ask the lady that answers she always tell me ok she will check and reschedule me but nothing yet.
I want to know if am over reacting or I should really be worried?? Anyone please

Anyone knows whether kpmg are trying to speed up recruitment process for those that had test invite this late August for possible September entry? Cos I know someone who did test yesterday and BAT today, documentation on Monday.. Is it possible they could be trying to speed up so everything can be done in time for September recruitment?

It happens like that every year. The closer we get to the date, the faster your recruitment process will go. Particularly if you are impressive.

You applied to advisory unit? I've heard about this as well from a previous thread. It should be an avenue for the partner or head of unit to get to know you all. I dont tnk u should worry about this since you aced your PI. All the best and enjoy the food�

Uhmmm If you are choosing MC with the hope of getting in with september intakes,it's not gona be feasible. MC has ended their recruitment for the year. So you should be looking at sometime from nextyear (or even end of the year,but not september). However if you really wana do MC,you may as well wait for MC even though it may take a while. It's gona be worth the wait for you if that is what you really like.

To add to what Tiwa has said; from what I gathered MC is the smallest unit in of staff number. Its true the unit is done with recruitment for the year as they stated it clearly during my documentation, but if its what you really want, you can still select it. But you would have to wait, and yes, it could take a long while. But at least you'll be following your dream.. You may go for another unit and not be as successful.

AUDIT. However 11th September is 2 weeks away,so you can't be too sure of anything really. U may choose audit and u may not get scheduled to start september. So you see..its ur choice though.

KPMG conducts tests all year round. I'm only talking about those that will resume for the new financial year.

I don't know how it's different from others as I don't really know what happens in other departments. For my AC, they put everyone in a room together while we were waiting for the interviewers to show up, after that we were asked to go to different rooms based on our departments. There were about 20 of us present and only 3 of us were for MC, Audit had the most people. When we got to the room. We waited for a while and we were called one after the other for a interviews. My consisted of 3 female interviewers from MC, I can't really their roles exactly but there were 2 managers among them. They asked me questions like; why kpmg? Why MC? Have I ever invested money and lost it? When have I ever exemplified leadership? Why would I be valuable to their team etc. it wasn't too tense, it was like having a conversation. After that round, they called all 3 of us in for a group exercise. We sat at a table opposite the ists table, they gave each of us a sheet which had a case study scenario on it. Ours was about a well established company trying to introduce a new product into the market and what factors they should consider. We were expected to discuss it amongst ourselves as though the interviewers weren't present for about 15 mins or so (I can't ). After that a member of the team was expected to present to the ists on behalf of the team. Nobody did so I volunteered. I presented but ensured my team were part by including them in the presentation. After this, the ists randomly asked us questions about our presentation l. After that, we were asked to leave the interview room and go back to the room in which we were waiting. We were then summoned one by one and taken to a separate room and given a topic m on which we were to present individually. I was alone in the room alone and given the sheet with the topic and a blank sheet to make notes, I was not allowed to take any of these sheets with me to the actual presentation. My topic was about how same sex marriage was made illegal in Nigeria and whether or not I feel that is right. I was called into the interview room to by which point another ist had ed,a man making 4 in total. I gave my presentation in under 5 minutes they kept questioning me over and over on the topic and finally it was over. I wasn't allowed to go back to the waiting room where others were. I had to leave immediately. When I got downstairs someone ran after me to tell me the ists wanted me to come back. When I got there they asked me what I would do if I wasn't accepted, I answered and was asked to leave. The AC occurred on Friday by Saturday morning I had gotten a success email. I hope this is clear and helpful enough.

Also, when I got out some people said they had to take another test. I didn't but I don't know if that's because I was in MC or because I wrote my initial assessment test at KPMG on paper and not at a test center or on the computer.

Oh, I guess you should have asked for clarification. We had a briefing before our documents were collected anyways. The documentation was quite interactive, but it was two male staff that were in charge of ours. Goodluck all the same. Have a nice one.

Thanks! Someone I met that did documentation with me yesterday was scheduled today for AC next wednesday. He chose AUDIT. I guess i'm in for a looong wait.. Hoping for a miracle
