My brother, you will have to be patient o. istrative processing is a fancy term for security checks. The fact that your bank statements were collected is interesting. Perhaps they want to the authenticity of the statement.

Either way, you will have to be patient. There is nothing you can do to expedite the process. I wish you all the best!

Okay so here's the thing... istrative processing is not the same for everyone and there are a variety of situations that can trigger your application being put in AP. My situation is very different from yours. 9 years ago I used to work in the US under a work visa.

I was interviewed on the 11th of August. After the interview, I was told that I would have to undergo further AP. On the 16th I checked my status and saw that the visa had been issued.

I was placed in AP so they could that I had indeed been under a work visa.

What questions were you asked, if you don't mind me asking?

Where I was within 2003-2006 ( I finished high school in 2004 then jamb shikena).
Docs were asked to substantiate the proof above!
If I had any military training DDR with orishirishi military ( I say me ke? Me that love life like kilode).
If I don fight voluntarily or forced ( I say ehehe!).
Then I should list the names of my siblings in which none don Eva comot for naija and 2 happily married and me 3rd born with a Br behind ( last born).
Na my case be that.. Na wrong identity dem dey worry on.
Maybe person wey dem dey find don Bleep up or on watched list but certainly not me.
Perhaps could be a matched name or some part of my data.
I just dey pray against akoba adaba up till now make baba God remove and exterminate am for my life oo!!!

It depend on how deepen the case or issue they want to process look like.

What kind of stamp will they stamp on your port when it's not immigration stamp. Some banks are funny no be small.

They should stamp the back which is more reasonable and I guess the reason is that you won't get it more than once or someone use your details to get it again via back door since it's given once in 4/6 months but not sure of the months.

i guess the VO went through your previous interview transcript, because of the much emphasis on Why school? Could observe the VO rephrased it twice, Instead of explaining reasons you choose Byu-i, I feel a reverse of that response would have sound interesting, something like :
it was a huge decision for me to make a choice after they all offered me ission, but I was interested in mechatronics,automotive and robotics which only BYUi offered that............................

For the new guys, you dont need to wait till when you can afford a car to get a driving license. Its advisable to get your license as soon as possible so that, when you eventually get a car, your insurance bill is not neck cutting. In most cases, the older your license the lesser you pay for insurance. Mind you, some states wont give you a license unless you show prove of car insurance, in that case you can always get the restricted license which allows you to only drive rented cars, I believe that counts too when you eventually get a car and decide to change the reatricted license.Ultimately, Always ask questions from people around you who have gone through this stage you are , ignorance is not an excuse. Goodluck in the Semester
