According to Abel Ifiemi, the Special Assistant to the Governor of Bayelsa State on Social media, this fish was caught in Sangana, Brass local government area of Bayelsa state. According to reports, the area is an island surrounded by water.

this fish was caught down here in brass local govt.( new Sangana to be precise)

that's my friend putting on face cap( his name is Tekena)

it's no freshwater creature.

Stingrays don't have eyes projecting out of their fins, only mantas do. That is a manta ray and not a stingray.
