He was an All States Bank branch manager or something, not the MD. The OP is trying to inspire you not to despise the days of little beginning. He served Ebitimi Banigo (the wealthy man behind All States then) but today All States is no more while Elumelu's own bank is a behemoth and he's become a very wealthy man running a successful conglomerate, dwarfing the achievements of his boss. Lessons : Vision + hard work + grit + excellence will take you very far. There is always room at the top. 9 Likes |

nwabobo: No he was not. Was a branch head which you can be with a mere 5 to 6 years banking experience. By 1997 he founded standard trust bank from the ashes of crystal bank Interestingly he was refused employment in the then crystal bank as unqualified to work with them.
