Your analysis is so wrong about Jay Jay Okocha. What majority of people like u dont understand is that there is politics in football and also not all good players are lucky to get a good club. Nwankwo Kanu and Mikel Obi are the luckiest players in Nigeria.i will never rate Kanu ahead of Jay Jay okocha cos of personal achievement or trophies. Kanu was lucky to be playing for top clubs like Ajax, Arsenal and inter Milan. At the peak of his career he ended up playing for Portsmouth and still won the FA cup despite Pompey being a lowly rated club. That should tell u that he's a lucky guy. As for the personal achievement, Kanu was named Caf player cos of the olympics and his first season with Arsenal. On the order hand Jay Jay was robbed twice of the award first in 1998 world cup when he was named amongst the best players in 98 but was given to Hadji of Morocco. in 2004 when jay Jay single handedly took bolton a relegation team in 2003 season to 8th position in 2004 which was the highest the club ever achieved in their history and also took them to the finals of carling cup. Also in the same year he guided Nigeria to semi in Afcon Tunisia 2004, was the MVP and top goal scorer ahead of eto'o that lost to Nigeria is Q/finals. Eto arrived Barca in the summer of that season from Malloca but the Caf Award was awarded to Eto for achieving nothing 2004. In the two years that Jay Jay got robbed, BBC awarded it to Jay Jay. ironically BBC award winner and CAF usually match but when it comes to Jay Jay Caf robbed him, the same way FIFA robbed Thiery Henry in 2003 and 2006.
There are many good players in this world but because of the club and country they play for theuy never achieved anything individually or club. javier saviola, Ariel Ortega, edmundo, Paulo Dicanio, Matt Le Tissier, Van Hudoink, jan Kholer, Zenden, etc the likes of Zlatan and Ronaldo Delima do not have a UCL trophy that Mikel and Kanu owns.
