I want to start up a company in Nigeria but I am not sure which services exactly I would be rendering yet. My motivation is to restore dignity to as many young Nigerians (since I have the means) as I can by giving them an opportunity to serve/work and be paid for their services. So help me make up my mind, you unemployed graduate, tell me what SPECIFICALLY can you offer or put in another way, what can you do for any business if employed. Please forget the 1st class, 2.1 talk..be specific. I wait earnestly for your comments and by the way this is no joke.

I dont want peoples ideas, on the contrary I want to know what they can do. For example I am an Econometrician I can sudy patterns, analyse data and make sales forecast, this is my job at a blue chip company. So that is all I ask. I have always wanted to start something in Nigeria but never did but I dont want this year to by without me doing this. And its not that I dont know were to invest money, I want to create Jobs. Thanks.

Hello sir, if going by your drive, I as a person can offer innovation and drive to any organization that wants to be big. However for viable ventures, ur location is a bit of a factor sir.I have ideas that are not too capital intensive to start. I just hope you sincere?

You want my idea, you gotta pay for it. Nothing goes for nothing, even in free town. Your post read " I am hiring". You have absolutely nothing in place except of course the capital, if your submission is something to go by. For genuine and serious investment, the investor which in this case is you, should have thought over the possible areas he can invest in even before the money comes. By so doing, he will ends up building a carrier in an area where his ion lies. Entrusting your investment decisions in the hands of unemployed graduates sounds cool but the question is how many of them can employ?

Let's not fool ourselves OK, many will give you a hint or two, in anticipation to get on board only to be ignored later. Again, we are aware you haven't really thought of the area to based your investment on but I believe you have thought of how much you wanna pay this graduates. So how about you answer this, what can you offer??

I dont want your ideas bro, I want your skills. My target are fresh/recent school leavers not necessarily university, persons who actually have something to offer and can explain it. A driver for instances, its very clear what a driver does.
If you all have very super ideas then you are almost rich because Ideas are priceless, it is worth more than money. You need to go to your bank, community, age group, pastor ot family with your super ideas and ask for funds...if they see that you got a good plan at least one of this set of people is bound to invest in you, if for nothing for returns. I am an Engineering graduate with a second class upper honours currently working at............ (I wouldn't like to state as I have previously created a nairaland post of how I hate my job). Although u didn't really state what type of company you will be creating, I would still like to convince u on how I can fit into any sector that requires my skills /expertise.
I would like to work with a fast paced company that would constantly challenge me to be better. I am hardworking, dedicated, a team player and have the basic computer and programming skills.
I can offer my computer/technical /numerical knowledge to whatever company you decide to start.

Bro this move is more of a patriotic one, because I am not in pressing need of money. I currently have a job abroad but I want to help back home with a start up, It not like I dont have other options, I do.I had a short spell in investment banking and I own quite some stocks, I also have family and friends into bulk buying and selling (importers) I could easily make money by investing in their businesses, but no, i want to get people to work.i want to make people happy no matter how little the no, but I am not looking to loose money either and I have mapped out $20k for this. What I pay my workers would depend largely on what they can offer.

Playaone, you might have good intentions but Tue way you are going about it isn't okay. The first and most important thing you should do is to decide where yoi want to invest your money. People who have interest and/or skills related can tell you what they can offer. Until then, this is a joke. A very big Joke.

Tell you what, no one will take you serious if at this point you don't know what to do with a whooping $20K. Do you know why successful people like dangote, Elumelu, Adenuga, Otedola and a host of others are exceptional. That's because they have wisdom. God wouldn't entrust his resource in you if you are not wise. With wisdom, you will have professionals working for you. The last thing you ll ever wish for is your employees reminding you of how much effort they put into the success of your business.

Your wanna be boss, you have to be a good decision maker. Your ability to take decisive decisions will go a long way to ensuring your leadership position.
Come to think it, this graduate aren't part of your company yet. So asking for their ideas is just like asking a contractor to work for you. You have to pay them.

it is your duty to research and pick and aspect u want to deal with. then pay people to help you develop the idea.
