Hello adehab,
I am of the school of thought that agrees with the Nigerian Government that BH has been technically defeated.

And I said Government of Nigeria - taking into the military surge by GEJ istration in 2014 Q1/Q2, and continued efforts by PMB istration.

BH attacked churches, mosques, security installation and hoisted flags over territories that covered 3 countries; Nigeria, Chad and Cameroon.

Today, that isn't the case - that's the technical defeat.

With any terrorist group engaged in insurgency, even the government cannot prevent pockets of attacks here and there.

So a bomb blast in Maiduguri today, or a market in Kano tomorrow isn't enough to say BH isn't technically defeated.

The constant statements by Nigerians is also unfair to of the Nigerian Army who have died from the day BH killed the first person.

The person who said 100% defeated is just a praise singer that shouldn't have been given a microphone, and I am sure the government of Nigeria didn't authorise him to speak for them.

I am sure we all prefer the current BH situation existing now than that of 24months ago. And there is room for improvement.

The honorable thing for Bubu to do now is to resign along with Lai himself. The basis for his campaign and ultimate victory at the polls was the immediate stoppage of the Boko menace.

Now they have lied to the world that they have technically defeated boko, they told press not to report anything on boko again, they said they have released Chibok girls without any single bargain, they said boko is retreating but all are lies upon lies. So the candid way out for Bubu is the path of honor resign now for deceiving the people. Just go and rest and let enjoy your old age and retirement, you cannot handle this job now and you have already itted that on of your age there is a limit to what you can do.

The life of every Nigerian is precious and that is the main responsibility of government which they have failed woefully.

Thank you for such contribution. Most Nigerian have forgotten where we are coming from. Insurgency is not a conventional war that you declared the war is over. You are fighting with an enemy not bold enough to face you in conventional war. This pockets of attacks cannot stop immeidately. It might take years but we have to commend the efforts of Nigeria Army and PMB government
