Can this be verified. It's not in local media. Nigerian militants on Sunday blew up a crude pipeline operated by Anglo-Dutch oil giant Shell in the restive oil-producing south, residents said. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/wires/afp/article-3717248/Militants-bomb-Shell-oil-pipeline-Nigeria-locals.html 2 Likes 1 Share |

Buhari is not diplomatic, atleast sit down personally and listen to their problems then tell them nicely, we can't afford to solve it at this time. Even if you can't solve it people love to be heard. But it's too late for it now Two things should happen today, one has occurred as promised (not that I it but as promised) over to you aisha! 38 Likes |

Ceenelly: Please, which of the demand? Truncate all criminal charges against tompolo and other alleged corrupt leaders? Anyway this bombing of pipeline is no more news. I was almost getting worried that I have not heard of any bombing in recent time. As far as I am concern their is different between avengers and boko haram. Both are the business of destroying one thing or the other. They should continue. Time would tell. 10 Likes |

Buhari isn't diplomatic in his approach. You can't use force on the Niger Delta people. Everything is not done via military approach. He should learn from Late Yar'adua 16 Likes |

kossyablaze: How many of them can also drive there states with robust IGR after getting a meager allocation |

butanep: At what point did the military came? This no sovereign state that will sit back and watch some disgruntled element destroyed both foreign and local investment. Are also aware that Yar'adua programme was distorted by the greedy element in that region. Certain per of money were meant to go to the communities straight from oil company. But what did you get? Immediately the demise of Yar'adua, they changes the policy and enrich themselves. Secondly, if the avenger are for the people, why did they resort to blowing up pipeline first before dialogue? 8 Likes 1 Share |

Keep on blowing places, but , all you end up getting is a degraded Environment with oil spills all over the place at the end a long term pollution that will grasp lungs of your children yet unborn. Any Niger Deltan that smiles at what is currently happening is indirectly another Member of the group of Mad men fighting for a selfish aim, not minding the environment.

Even if the whole of the niger delta is crushed ,it won't in anyway affect the politicians. They stores the little money the country has in their personal s daily,as they are fighting corruption ,if you guys don't know. Bombing won't solve the problem jare. Who dey there, abeg help me tell them.

What the militants are doing is bad but the government needs to hear them out. As for the environmental activists i think you guys should just focus on the problems in your various states.
