Good Morning.

Med and Surg.The calculations :
2. For the screening, UTME result weighs 70% of your total score and the remaining 30% from your O'level results.
3. Your best 8 subjects are computed; With A1 = 8, B2 = 7, B3 = 6, C4 = 5, C5 = 4, C6 = 3, and so on.
4. Maximum points from your best 8 O'level subjects is 64 ( A1 = 8 X 8 subjects).
5. Your O'level points is then converted to 30% (Assuming y is your O'level points, then, it will now be calculated thus: y/64 X 30).
6. For your UTME points, it will be calculated thus: Your UTME score/400 X 70.
7. Your final merged score, which will be used for ission now = UTME points (maximum of 70) + O' level points (maximum of 30) = 100.
8. You will be allowed to select two courses during the screening registration.

According to the advert on the portal,there was no where they asked for diploma/ND statement of result,but on the whatsapp group,I don't know how someone came about it that he said he ed his statement of result.
Anyway boss,if u by chance get to find out if statement of result is (or is not) part of the credentials to be ed,kindly quote me so that I can be informed.

Hello pals, will "2-sittings " candidates be screened using the same calculatory method posted previously by OAUpeeps.
I read that... it's allowed to choose two courses..1st: UTME course, 2nd: Alternative course (if I should call it that)?
Guys, for those of us, that have been screened and the print out shows the cut off points. You should please share :Course, Jamb score, SSCE grades and cut off points.

It doesn't matter whether its two sittings or not, they will just extract your BEST 8 subjects out of the two results and screen it like one sitting.

I did OAU diploma,at the end of each semester they our results on the eportal tagged statement of result,now can I them?or can I my student transcript instead?

This is because I have no idea if there is any other statement of result one has to go to the department to request for (also considering the fact that OAU is on strike) but the one on eportal all I have to do is to just print (a 4 page analysis) them out,thanks.

ELIGIBILITY
✔You must have made Obafemi Awolowo University your First choice
✔You Must have scored 200 and Above in the Last UTME
✔For the DE Candidates,You must have atleast UPPER CREDIT in your result
HOW TO APPLY
Log on to the university Eportal [eportal.oauife.edu.ng] and click on _2016 ISSION SCREENING-UTME/DE APPLICANTS_ by using your JAMB registration number to RRR[Remital Referral Reference] and use it to pay dues..
Amount due comprises of
SCREENING FEE-#1,500
EPORTAL ACCESS CHARGE-#5,000
BANK CHARGE-#350
TOTAL FEE-#6,850
Payments can be via branch of any bank or MasterCard
After payments, you are required to do the following on the university Eportal;
1. Update JAMB data_
2. Results[WAEC/NECO/JUPEB/NCE etc]_
3. Scanned copy of Credentials
4.Print ission Screening Report
NOTE THE FOLLOWING
☀ Closing Date for Screening of UTME Candidates is 20th July,2016
☀ Closing Date for screening of Direct Entry candidates is 30th July,2016

It's there bro. After generating your RRR you will see where to your diploma result under where we have o levels.

Thanks,but the issue is that I don't have statement of result from the department,however,on my school website they our results at the end of each semester and they tag it statement of result for the semester,so for my diploma these contains four pages,can I print them out and for the screening OR better still,can I the copy of my student transcript (this is a two page document and it consists of all my grades and final GPA in school).

No. I think JAMB has to post you first. If not your information will not load on OAU Portal.


The main question I want to ask is this:
Does the portal those that are awaiting SSCE results?
