Generally UI puts the minimum mark at 40%,which qualifies you for the next interview or exam depending on departments because not all department hold a second exam . But once you have 40% you are regarded as ed . But sometimes decisions on your ission may come down to that score so do your best mate.

Depending on your department you may have further screening other than the EPT . Basic documents are o levels ,bachelors ,NYSC cert, after the registration your transcript would be expected, it does a lot better if you visit the website ,they have the whole process summarized there

I don't know about the departmental marks and am not sure any department released any, they basically recommend applicants to the PG sch if one es their criteria

Just a little advise on prospective candidates.
1) Do not think about d 2nd stage,concentrate on this with all.
2)Practice Questions are online,100 of them.Mastery of this gives u 60% edge already.U simply can and practice thoroughly.
3)The exams as expected is CBT,but some could be PBT based on venues.
4)Get acquainted with your mails,as urgent information would be ed through that(When phone network communication fails).
5)The PG school approved mark is 40%.
6)Departments could go higher based on demand,so make sure u do your utmost best.Elect/Elect had 50(unofficial)last year as criteria.
7)Ensure your transcript is confirmed to be at the UI PG School latest 3rd week of August,to prevent(stories that touch)
Confirmed in 7 above is make sure you physically it has arrived PG School,as my case last year saw my transcript sent to Faculty of Agriculture even after It was addressed to PG School.I was lucky to have someone in PG school who traced it before deadline.
9)For safety purposes,make sure your transcript is sent using trusted courier services,get its tracking number and make sure u follow precisely your document;Especially for student whose alma-maters are distant from UI.
PS: This does not negate option 8 above.
The likely dates for your exams is Other Things been equal 2nd-4th week of September.
In all of this there could be slight exceptions,but to be on the very safe side,follow this vivaciously,and especially No 10.
10) Hold on to your God and be extremely prayerful because the competition is TOUGH but not INSURMOUNTABLE.

.There is usually an extension after a late entry fee has been paid but I will do well to confirm and inform d House 2mao.

EPT is the English Proficiency Test which is compulsory for all aspiring student of UI PG studies.The 2nd stage varies based on Departments.U never can know as it is been discussed by the Department after d first stage based on the number of people who scaled through the first criteria of 40/50% depending on d department,etc.Last year Biochem did an oral interview,I can also confirm 8/10 that my department Elect/Elect will go through Oral Interview which will involve your getting a topic,prepare on slide via PowerPoint and defend before a of interviewers,Departments like Zoology,Botany went through a 2nd test.(But in UI 95% of these departments conduct oral or written tests,save for a few like ARCIS)
But like I strongly advise,forget d 2nd stage for now.A true life story,a gf of mine went for d 2nd stage last year(Oral) and discovered that her HOD at her alma-mater had moved to UI and was heading d of interviewers,so she was asked no questions and itted.So God can do it anyhow but don't behave like Nigeria in '98 that were resting Amokachi,Yekini and co for Brazil in d Quarters only to lose to Denmark in d 2nd round.
Focus your all on this stage when u get to that bridge u will cross it,count 1 before 2 and not vice-versa.

Yes it is subject to the department ,to the best of my knowledge I only know of philosophy that did not conduct a second test last year which may differ this year.
