Idi0t! U dey ph or calabar? Who told u d topography is diff
. No mind am, even calabar topography is hilly & a bit difficult while ph is flat&easy, the only diff. is calabar mono rail is shorter in distance compare to ph city own so therefore the contractual sum is not the same. Wike should put aside political differences & grudges by completin' it to benefit of Rivers people, it will be to his own Glory, quite unfortunate that money spent so far would have been enough to link bonny lsland & other interior riverian areas like opobo/Andoni etc. to port harcourt city.

Only an idiotic imbecîle wouldn't see that those amounts were over bloated. What will one compensate that will make such project run into hundreds of millions of dollars and not naira oh! Even if na heavenly land, the compensation no go reach like that. Chai! Senseless and stewpid APC ers scattered across the country can so justify corruption, as long as it is coming from their candidate. I don't blame them, I blame their bigoted leaders that guide them on the part of bigotry.. Shame on all of them..

Not unexpected from an hopeless self acclaimed goat.
The location of the monorail is the most choicest part of PH. its within the premises of the govt house, house of assembly and state judiciary.
Amaechi was in PDP when compensation was paid out while wike was his chief of staff. Considering that standardized buildings were destroyed to give way for this monorail, its obvious to all sane men that billions of naira would have been spent on compensation. Only a fool will expect just millions to be paid in a place like Asokoro if buildings will be expected to be demolished.
Wike was chief of staff. he never had issue with the amount paid to compensate. so far he still doesnt. so who the ffuck are u or what do u think u know that these ones dont know?

Hmmmm, when people compare Apples to Oranges, they would only get confused.

This is a case of comparing a Mr A that went to Lagos from PH for N8,200 and a Mrs B that went to the same Lagos for N24,800, by simply saying "both went to Lagos". Na dindinrin sense be that if one went by Road and the other by Air.

Cross River Monorail is using rails on the ground, while Rivers is a suspended rail with up to 100 pylons.

Also, the Cross River monorail es through virgin lands whereas the Rivers monorail is through much developed choice areas of PH with the added cost for demolition and compensation
.

Wike is better advised to leave politics and complete the project, he should learn from what Lagos is currently facing today as it abandoned its Metro in the 80's. At least now, Lagos is back constructing its Blue, Black and Yellow lines of rail transport. If he thinks Amaechi committed fraud, then probe him and charge him to court seeing as Amaechi has no immunity.

The fool u are addressing this to is a goat. he lacks what it takes to decipher the wisdom in ur post.

The reason you're not disappointed in the Dullard is because you're holed up somewhere in Scotland.... Enjoying stable electricity, good infrastructure and a better quality of life. People like you are the problem with Nigeria. Everything has nose-dived in this country since the Dullard took over the mantle of leadership. Nigerians are suffering and groaning in pains and a nitwit like you deems it fit to type nonsense from your comfort zone in the UK.

Buhari is the worst thing that has happened to Nigeria since amalgamation.

If Jonathan had been allowed to continue, things would be worse than this grin but I understand that you have trouble understanding the events that led to our present situation. May you not be led astray because of your deep seated hated for Muslims and the North.

This man's talks senselessly. Is cross river States topography like Rivers state? Is their land as muddy as Rivers state? Why not probe the project to a certain where the money went? Was the scope of the monorail the same?

Are the designs and detail the same? Are they ing through land or did bridges needs to be built for them if they are crossing the road? These are issues you find out.

Rivers state needs another mode of transportation apart from road to curb their traffic issues. The population is growing faster than roads built. No amount of roads built can do that. This man should put politics aside and do what will eventually bring benefits to the people of rivers state.
Do u live in rivers state?

See the kind of useless leaders we have in Nigeria.
Who is going to benefit from the monorail?
Is it not the people?
No continuity!
Everyone want to start their own white elephant project with their names emblazoned on it.
This is exactly why we keep on going in circle in this country.
Bunch of morafukkers!
Cutting off his nose to spite his face!

Wike is working on all the projects Amaechi left behind apart from Monorqil of which after much consultations, he said the he was advice not to continue with it.

Read well with understanding.

When will these people recover from the ousting of their 'Jesus on earth'. That is the major reason for this mudslinging and campaign of calumny against Amaechi. It's a height of naivete to hurt yourself with the aim of spiting someone else.

Bros, please don't try to justify that monorail on Azikiwe road.

It is arguably the worst project ever in Rivers State and probably the South South. Amaechi should bury his head in Shame anytime he goes towards that part of Port Harcourt.

How many people ply Isaac Boro Park to Lagos Bus-stop route compared to the traffic from Oyigbo to Boro park (Aba road)?

Let's call a spade a spade. That monorail project needs to be probed. And before you call me a wailer, I am a card-carrying member of the APC.

We do not know if things would have been better or worse if Jonathan had been allowed to continue because he's no longer the president and we have no premise on which to judge his performance. So that logic doesn't hold water. We can only judge Jonathan based on the state of affairs when he was incharge.... And we all know what the answer is.

Right now, the Dullard is incharge and everything is going down south.

By the time the fool was leaving, we were already borrowing to pay salaries after several years of plenty. we have never as a nation found ourself in such mess. Things were already bad by the time we rightfully booted out the I-Bufoon.

You are a mor..on!

Clearly, you have trouble understanding how simple events could lead to a complex one. The ineffectual buffoon destroyed your country. If you had any grey matter in that dead brain of yours, you would kill yourself for coming up with such mor..onic argument.

Ode!
When is the Dullard going to take responsibility for running Nigeria aground. The economy is in complete ruins and there's nothing on ground to show that any effort is being made to improve the situation. There's no policy framework, no economic roap... Nothing! Nigeria is on autopilot and is fast approaching the precipice.

Whenever, I hear people cuss Amaechi, I conclude they are either aggrieved PDP or stake holders who were deprived of ill gotten funds, as Amaechi refused to share. An unbiased and unpolitised assessment on Amaechi's tenure would not judge him as corrupt.
I live there, I don't any political party, neither am i an indigine.

Amaechi's failure were as a result of his stubborn nature and refusal to conform
with the norms of a regular naija politician. He faught Patience Jonathan.... he shouldn't have done that, as a politician. That was his nemesis.....

Now, it's a field day for propagandists and rumour mongers.

And u think buhari will allow that?

What about the initial probe b4 they made him the minister?

In as much as I would love wike to continue the project. But

Will wike continue @ that same bogus fee/contract?

Will he renegotiate it?

What about other logistics and works already payed for?

If he continues without checking these things, it also means he is also working on the same corruption matter.

If he should go ahead and probe amaechi later, will PMB allow that to happen?

If amaechi can't be probed, then that project should remain like that.

Oga, many companies have started sacking when GEJ was still in power and oil price was $75/barrel then, Naira was already devalued and foreign reserves already at $29billion. The issue about the economy is basically because of oil price, even saudi arabia is seriously feeling the crunch now. Six of the gulf state have already borrowed money. Saudi arabia's construction industry is in disarray because the govt has reduced spending and not forgetting them raising PMS price for its citizens.
A lot of countries are really feeling the crunch including China. The govt is doing their best as per the economy issue. The western criticizing them only want you to run out of foreign reserve so they can come and dictate to the govt and control the country like they did to Greece.

Rivers people in real big trouble. Because wike hate amechi, his projects are scandalized and abandoned. So, wike will start his own projects and another govt will come and abandone it in the future.

Rivers thuggs should get small sense and force their master to do things that benefit the peaple.

Let's assume it is over-qouted like Wike and most Rivers people believe.

Are we now saying that the money spent on it already should be thrown away?

Which one us more wasteful?

That project will help develop Rivers state and it does not belong to Amaechi nor Wike.

Please Wike should do the rest of the job and expose Amaechi with how much it costs to complete.

Governance is all about continuity.

My opinion though.

There is a phrase popular in business circles that goes thus "Do not throw good money after bad".

I will not explain what that means. I will want to believe you understand.
