Re: Few Pics From Imo State by Nobody: 8:05pm On Dec 18, 2015
I heard Rochas is owing staff of IMSUTH 4 months salary, so the staff are not serious with work.

I also heard the State civil servants were given 3 weeks Christmas break when the State government is owing them some months salary.

Igbos are doing well, trust me. If you doubt it, travel to other States' villages and satellite towns. Only if our state and Local governments can be sincere enough...you find igbos building big houses in our satellite towns and villages, yet social amenities remains poor, poor Road, water supply; poor, security; poor, town planning, poor, power supply; poor.

Just, Only if our politicians can do away with selfishness and encourage the effort of igbos.

Here is the State of the road:

That's not Owerri-Orlu Road. Its the old road previously cut by erosion at Menacorde and around Owerre Ebeiri. That road has never been good. Orlu-Owerri road touches Orlu at Banana junction. So I'm not wrong.

Now, this the road leading to Orlu from Ideato south LGA. What the State government is doing on the road is pouring red earth to the bad parts of the road. So the road is almost filled with this red earth, very dusty, with occasional good part.

I think this explains what Mandax post about people swallowing/breathing dust.

That's Orlu-Nkwerre-Anara Road. Its a federal road that links Ihiala to Anara cutting through Orlu, Nkwerre, Eziachi and Amaigbo. Orlu-Ideato road is mostly dual carriage way done by Okorocha.

You just judged me wrongly. The old stadium as you can see stays the same. The roof of the pavilion was vandalised and that was my statement.

No civil servant is owed in Imo State. Pensioners yes. There was issue with health and some parastatals but it has been settled and they were paid everything owed including December salary ahead of time. They were equally given 3 weeks holiday.

The state teaching hospital, IMSUTH, Orlu.

I can see the hospital has a lot of new structures. I will like to know if indeed the hospital has been cut off by erosion and flooding like Mandax always postulated. The roads on your pics look good.

I didn't go to the school part, so I don't have a total view of the place.

you must go hell from lying, abagworo.

Below are Orlu stadium during the period when Okorocha agents were dismantling the roofs; and after dismantling was completed, except the walls.
One can see the truck carrying away the dismantled materials.

Liar! Centje's pictures just confirmed what I wrote that the pavillion was vandalised. Every other thing remains intact. Pictures don't lie.

Re: Few Pics From Imo State by Nobody: 9:19pm On Dec 18, 2015
My dear, that's the news I got. The person who told me about the 4 months salary issue is a doctor in IMSUTH. What does he stand to gain lying to his colleague about his salary...he said state was owing them 7 months(excluding December), then paid 4 months, remaining 3 months ( adding December salary will make it 4 months, since salary is expected before Christmas)

Here is the State of the road:

@Centje;

Don't mind Abagworo, you got the Old Orlu-Owerri road correct.

That's one of the many abandoned roads in Orlu through which tens of thousands of inhabitants risk lung diseases from inhaling dust for about three years running.

The portion of the road you have in your picture is the beginning side of the road close to the Kalamazoo house.

The left side was asphalted for about 500 meters for over three years, but the remaining 4 kilometres or so of the road to Y-junction in Nkume remains dust in dry season and mud in rainy season.

Maybe you met him before they were asked to pick their cheques yesterday. Confirm again because I was with someone in one of the parastatals yesterday and while complaining he received a call from a colleague that all their arrears have been paid.
Re: Few Pics From Imo State by Nobody: 9:26pm On Dec 18, 2015
There was a picture you posted earlier, it's different from what I saw on ground.

You said vandalism, Mandax insisted it's was dismantled by state goverment.

Which ever is true, the bottom line is that the Stadium in not in good shape. On the other hand, What's the essence of having two stadiums in Orlu? Will Rochas demolish the old one when he is done with the new one. I don't think it's a good economic move, tho'?

You have accepted its the old road and not the Owerri-Orlu Road. The old road has always been bad and out of use for years. It was previously cut by gully at Menacorde and Owerre Ebeiri before Okorocha engaged in its construction. However the new Owerri-Orlu Road which has the Nursing school and new Stadium has received more attention.

Abagworo is too much that he can't even accept he lied, even after he is shown with pictures that he was lying.

The stadium Abagworo showed in picture was never the Sam Okwaraji Stadium, Orlu, at any stage.

He wants development to spread to outskirts of the town. The Stadium was built by Udenwa in his village of Amaifeke which is beside Orlu urban while Okorocha moved it far to Okporo which is Beremx's hometown. Most of Okorocha's projects in Orlu are sited at Okporo town. Mandax is related to Udenwa and is bitter about Okorocha overshadowing them in Orlu town. The state of that road you plied from Nkwerre was the state of most roads in Orlu before Okorocha. Orlu was more rural.
Re: Few Pics From Imo State by Nobody: 9:35pm On Dec 18, 2015
I have limited knowledge of the area, but I came in through Ideato south LGA.

Stop lying about vandalization of a sports stadium. Where on earth had a sports stadium been vandalized and roofs carted away? No body was caught?

Truth, Okorocha came into office and one of his earliest acts was set up a commission of inquiry to find out why and how the stadium was built in Orlu. Hardly had the commission tendered its report when Okorocha contractors dismantled the stadium.

That Orlu stadium was there even before Udenwa was born. It is not in Udenwa's village. Udenwa government merely upgraded it and renamed it Sam Okwaraji Stadium in memory of late footballer Sam Okwaraji.

It has always been called Orlu Township Stadium, even before Udenwa was born. Udenwa is from Amaifeke - a part of Orlu urban local government area. Stop talking what you don't know much about because you want to earn a living.

Amaifeke is a different town from Orlu urban and are not even same tribe/clan as Orlu who are of Isu stock. They don't even speak same dialect.

Again you showed this as IMSUTH. Please Centje was there any place like this you saw at the Teaching Hospital?

Yeah, there were many beautiful streets in Orlu but my interest was on resolving the endless disagreement between Abagworo and Mandax with pictures.
