People come to nairaland expecting to receive all answers to their questions without making any personal effort. You didnt even try googling 'KPMG graduate trainee recruitment 2015'. Anyway, simply google KPMG Nigeria, the careers link will pop up. You apply online.

s department is a very small unit within KPMG and I dont even know how they recruit. But if you want to apply for a graduate position where you can gain ing experience, then apply to audit. Audit takes a lot more graduates..up to 80 or more every year, so u stand a greater chance if you can perform well during the recruitment process.

Yes, of course. Sometimes the people from other backgrounds make the best auditors. KPMG will teach you everything. Infact, all new hires in KPMG (even HR) go thru a basic ing course. Then you have continuous trainings in your individual units. You have annual audit trainings. In the 4th yr, the training is done in South Africa. Plus you learn on the job and you do ICAN/ACCA. At the end of your first year, you take a competency test which captures the aspect of ing/auditing you should know. If you , you get promoted. Only very few fail as each unit would organise series of revision classes. In fact, by your third/fourth year, you should be a team lead. You sit with CFOs and Finance managers to discuss ing issues. You will be surprised at what you would have learnt in ing.

Yes, KPMG does not accept 2.2.

Yes, true. Advisory is divided into 3 depts/sub-divisions: Management consulting, deal advisory and risk consulting. Under risk consulting, we have several units- FRM ( financial risk mgt), forensic, IARCS (internal audit, risk and compliance services) and Technology Advisory. U can find out more on KPMG website.

Assessment centre. I am sure u saw dat someone mentioned AC. Pls take time to browse thru this thread. People on this thread have gone thru d recruitment process successfully. You should find useful information.

the recruitment process for forensic should be somtin like dis-Assessment centre, manager interview and then partner interview.

three stages
stage one : getting to know you. just tell dem ur name, school, state of origin, discipline, interest, and skills. two minutes tops(my advice). answer as succintly as u can any oda question u are asked. dnt waste dia time.
stage two: group case. u will be given an hypothetical case to review, analyse and provide solutions to. in fifteen minutes. den one of u will present in 5 minutes.
ds stage is a bit tricky. converse among ur group member b4 u are called. preselect ur group leader b4 entering. u may look at d followin xtics
discipline ( ing or related course)
spoken english
dressing
confidence
note: dnt compete negatively i.e dnt take ur group as ur competitors
speak out, contribute reasonably(dnt talk for talking sake) and be willin to hear ur colleagues opinion. etc try to be active
stage three: individual presentation in five minutes
topics: contemporary issues like insurgency, same sex marriage, unemployment etc. just give ur oponion for or against in 5 mimutes.
my advice: say something sensible in three minutes and stop talkin. chances are u will start blabbing after dt time especially if its a topic u knw little about. maintain eye and smile a bit.
most importantly, be well dressed
comb ur hair, get a good suit, use perfume moderately, where a plain or striped shirt( max of two colors) same for d tie. good shoes etc
ur appearance matters a lot
overall, be calm, u cant lose wat u dnt av in d first place.
