illiad: Cluelessness is the cause of this. I am surprised that your for a clueless man has made you clueless as well. The current government has started spending nothing so it wad the previous government that squandered your children's money importing Palm oil, rice that you don't need and petrol that you should be exporting. When I see thoughtless posts like yours I get tired for Nigeria. Is it an IQ problem or a cowardice problem? Okay let me try to explain things to you. If you spend all your money today you won't have anything to spend tomorrow so tommorrow always feels the effect of today's mistakes. I hope that is now clear?. 2 Likes 1 Share |

dame16: kilokeys: If GEJ was still around...the problem would still be happening. You Jonah slaves forget simple economics....the oil price drop is due to the fact that we are still dependent on oil. (Something which GEJ's transformation agenda forgot to correct) Because oil prices have dropped....Nigeria no longer has the forex to buffer the naira.. Hence the fall in the naira. Your Hero contributed to the issue....by not expediting action on diversifying the economy. By the end of his tenure...we were still oil dependent as we were in the beginning. You people should stop blaming Buhari. For once....this isn't his fault. 3 Likes 1 Share |

bushdoc9919: It is not partly his fault. It is wholly is fault. You guys go and read your economics books. Anyway the guy is going down. The new government will start releasing details of corruption during his era and an international dragnet will soon be pit in place with the cooperation. When they finish with them if you see governments 1 kobo you won't touch it. |

This istration has spent 2months now and all we see is tribal appointment/inter party crisis/revenge(Find my certificate that was never there). I just hope something good will come out of all this. I knw pple will blame this on the past istration. I jst hope and pray dat dis istration meet up to 20% of the expectation placed on them by our beloved Nigerians.

America has turn nigeria to its foot stool, I just saw on tv that buhari praises american-iranian deal of iran supplying 300,000 liters of crude oil more hard time for this economy. The president is the true definition of a DUMBFUUCK. Licking the asses of western super powers just to be in their right books. But one question for u guys what happens if Democrats looses the coming election. Cos americans don't like hilary one bit. The equation just got complex.

Any one who thinks Buhari controls the exchange rate lacks and understanding of Economics and History (not insulting any one o, just trying to be factual), look back to Nigeria between 1981 to 1983 to understand the history, once Buhari left IBB stopped defending the fall of the Naira and implemented SAP in order to get forex via IMF loan, the rest is history, look at the Euro and the Swiss Franc to understand Economics of demand and supply, Euro used to be like 1.3 to a dollar, now its 0.9 to a dollar, has nothing to do with Political leadership. Naira value is based on demand and supply, Naija no get the forex to defend the naira on the way down. Brace yourselves.... downward pressure on naira is still continuing. With a predominantly import based economy and crude prices still low, we need to hit the sweet spot and I am not sure where that is. I am thinking 243- 253 should bring stability , there will probably be even more import controls, more Aregbesolas not paying salaries, austerity is staring Nigeria in the face. 1 Like |
