I applied for MSC Mathematics but i ve got two challenges. I wrote just one referee and he has not received any mail despite i applied since 7th of June. I can not go to the school as a result of distance and i need to ensure my Transcript is sent. Please if you are Unilorin kindly reply so you can help me or can I fix up all these a day or two days to the exam? Thanks

if you applied for mathematics department please let us discuss. I av past question for last year exams but the questions are from 300 and 400 level. its 15 questions and to answer any 5 but the question is like Arabic to me know .I don't have any materials to solve them cos I finished from d school 5 year ago. I need a current graduate to relate with in solving some of the problem to refresh my brain.

Do you think this exam can still be done on 18th? It seems that date will clash with the Muslim festival.

As regarding the date of the exam. I spoke with the school PG coordinator yesterday and he said the school will be meeting this week to discuss another date for d exam either by one or two weeks. The new date would be communicated to us via their website shortly according to him.

such a pity i opt out the application process as i dont see myself settling down for any of the available courses (i jst wont flow wit 'em)

your school is probably going to post it through DHL or FEDEX,mine was posted through FEDEX by my school exams and records secretary.....again you don't need any PMB to post it....gracias.

Just an advice for those coming from other schools that are to write the entrance exam,tryna visit your dept ,get the past questions and practise it.. The exam isn't as easy as normal undergraduate entrance exam,it's basically 300l and 400l syllabus... The ission into pg school is mostly based on merit and the cutoff marks are determined by each dept,this depends on the number of people the dept wanna it(cutoff is basically above 50% for normal candidates). Your class doesn't matter(for those writting exam) some 2'2 will be itted,whereas 1st class will miss out(it happened last year).. And for those havin issues wit referees, it's beta you correct it ASAP at pg school,the secretary is a nice and accommodative person,all your problems will be rectified there.. Referee is very important,it doesn't matter what your scores is,if you don't have atleast 2 referees, no ission.. For those without nysc cert, if you're a unilorin product, you can apply, lotta people were itted last year without the cert, just and summit your id card.. I was at pg school last week, and it's pasted there that ing documents are to be submitted. These include, nysc cert, degree cert, o.level cert, application form and receipt. All documents are to be enclosed in brown envelop.. Nat sure if it's compulsory, you can confirm it yourself.. If you need past question for entrance exam into chm dept, you can pm me,i guess i still av it wt me here.. Wish you peepz all the best...
