TeaParty: 9:23pm On Jan 04, 2015
A public interest group, the Advocacy for Societal Rights Advancement and Development Initiative (ASRADI) has invoked the provisions of the Freedom of Information Act to demand from the Nigerian Army (NA) and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) details of the All Progressives Congress' presidential candidate, General Muhammadu. Buhari (rtd.)

In separate letters to the two institutions signed by its Executive Director, Deolu Oyinlola, the group gave NA‎ and INEC seven days within which to respond to the request.

ASRADI‎ asked INEC to provide it answers to the following questions:
*Did Major-General (rtd) submit any academic certificate(s) when he contested presidential elections in 2003, 2007 and 2011?

*Has Major-General  Mohammadu Buhari submitted any academic certificate(s) in respect of the February 14, 2015 presidential election?

*Does an affidavit in lieu of academic certificates not require a candidate to list their academic qualifications and certificates obtained?

*Did Major-General Muhammadu Buhari submit a birth certificate or sworn affidavit of age to the Commission in 2003, 2007 and 2011?

*Has Major-General  Muhammadu Buhari submitted a birth certificate or sworn affidavit of age in respect of the February, 14, 2015 presidential election?

If it were to be in abroad, with all these 'no certificate' saga, Buhari would have honorably stepped down.

Thanks to GEJ for g the FOI bill his predecessors refused g.

Mighty thanks to GEJ again for a transparent electoral process which has been adjudged as free and fair. Its one man one vote.... Power clearly belong to the people courtesy of GEJ.

Only a fool will a renowned terror chief who truncated a democracy to a man who has clearly shown Nigerians what democracy should look like

You guys just spew whatever comes to your minds.

The same way Stella Odua honourably resigned during the BMW saga or MSc gale?!

The same way Abba Moro(n) resigned after the sham immigration exercise?!

Or the way Jonathan resigned after his Government watched over the abduction of over 274 Chibok Girls?!

If it were in advance countries, Jonathan would not seek a re-election after failing us as a Nation.

BTW, where was it stated that Buhari doesn't have a certificate?! Go to the Nigerian Military Board, confirm from them to know whether he has any copy with them. Be it original or photocopy.

All these things you guys are spewing won't save Jonathan come February 14th. We'll angrily, massively and unanimously vote him out!

I want to know if it were gej that did not have certificate as buhari how APC ers would have reacted? Would they have asked inec to disqualify him or not?
I am persuaded to believe that APC is a joke a big one at that.
Now I know why el rufia says that buhari is perpetually unelectable.

Giving the army an ultimatum makes this request sound commanding and rude, it may not get the required response, IMO

Good,INEC must provide the information, afterall,GMB has been contesting in previous elections, which certificate has he been using?

With obvious fact of PDP/GEJ loosing the election,I smell a grand conspiracy.

Before the 7 days ultimatum elapses let me help out with the needed responses. grin

1* It didn't matter then
2* No
3* It does
4* Not sure
5* Not yet

In conclusion....,

He's (GMB) not fit to rule the PRESENT Nigeria.
If his followers feel he is they should ask themselves why and how.

Is "fighting corruption" (GMB's campaign slogan) the only problem Nigeria is facing as a nation?

As much as I (WE) want change in Nigeria NOW, GMB isn't the answer we crave for. Kwankwaso will have been a better bet for the needed change.

GMB only has the irrational, desperate and violent followership while Kwakwaso has performance as his leverage.

GMB should do Nigerians a favour if he really has our best interest in mind

Step down and anoint Kwankwaso then let's give GEJ a run for his money.

Even the person with certificate is not as competent as the one without certificate. Having a phD doesn't mean one will have wisdom in tackling issues related to the security and wellbeing of the people. GEJ is just an impotent leader, that needs further education in welfarism and politics.

Allow this buhari's document saga to rest for once haba.

He has contested for president thrice for this country and his documents were no issues.

Pdpd is fond of character assassination and failed developments they can't defend

Shame on the umbrella

"Group" should have known that you cannot exactly provide what's nonexistent.

"Group", tell Buhari to provide his certificate. He's too old for this nonsense.
