Reasons: 1. we have two people of tested and trusted integrity.

I think him being old makes it a better deal for us.

Reasons: 1. I believe no young man can mount that position because he is most likely to be intimidated by our old "corrupt" folks. They'll tell him we are your father and we've been here for a while. And can even use their power, connections and money to bring him down.

2. Buhari is old and I believe he can confront the old "corrupt" folks. The worst thing they'll do to him is to kill him and I believe he is ready to die...He is above 70. So he'll walk without fear bearing in mind that the worst they'll do to him is to kill him but for a young man... such decision will be hard.

3. He has ruled Nigeria before now and from the history I read, the previous govt before his was very very corrupt and in the few years he spent there, he was able to flush the system. Then WAI, environmental sanitation, first come-first served basis were used @ airports, car parks... to mention a few.

So I still believe he's the best person that can flush the "corrupt" system we have.

All I want as a person is for us to have a Nigerian dream where you know that if you work hard, if you do the RIGHT thing, you'll be rewarded and you'll be seen as the good guy not "dull" or "unwise" person.

You obviously are under the halo effect.

It is the halo effect that makes the baker think that he can run a successful bakery with just baking skills or a chef that thinks his cooking is all that is required to run a successful restaurant.

For one to be successful in a specific role one must have developed the skill set that will be used in that particular role. Raising a good family while commendable in itself is not a criteria for successfully leading a country. The family is not a democracy, the parents decisions are final, children don't get to decide which instructions of their parents they will follow.

Saying that Buhari raised good children therefore we should vote for him won't stand. What we want to know are his traits as a leader and as an individual, his plans for steering this nation to greatness and so forth. If anyone thinks that their record as a parent (no offence to all the good parents out there)is a prerequisite for leadership positions let them go and open a school and lead there.

I don't think that's all we need. In 2007, Fashola was not popular and I can say he delivered even though he didn't meet my expectations, He did absolutely well!

Also, before Late Dora Akunyili became the Nafdac boss, she wasn't popular but she did excellently well while there.

I do not think Amaechi is good enough. Fayemi is definitely a no no. APC needs to win at least 70% of the votes in the South West, I don't think Fayemi can deliver that.

Rochas would have been another good option.
