This same issue of changing narrative is why she put it on social media because after said and done she can't trust the system or PCN to protect her

Then you do not know or understand how the Pharmacist council operates. It is a strict and very well arranged organization. If she’s licensed, she can make her report. Again, it is very easy for her to find another job. Once licensed, even PCN can help out if job opportunities present themselves. On this, we cannot just draw our conclusions, without getting details from the pharmacy where she worked.

Pharmacy graduate is not yet a fully Licensed Pharmacist but trainee Pharmacist. By law, she's yet to be a full employee and meant to act under Supervision of a Licensed Pharmacist.

Even as a rookie, she knows what to do for this kind of thing. Putting this on social media, if true, is not the way to go. She is meant to log it in and report the incident to the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN).

She was probably fired for something else but using this to get back at the organization since she's aware of their unethical practices.
Were you there oga oversabi, this is how we nonesense in this country...

Your Boss is a packaged drug dealer

We don't have regulators in Naija. In western world, they will move in to investigate and your boss license will be revoked forever.

But hey, even regulators will read this and keep scrolling. When we say All is not well with Naija people will think we are hating
That's the problem even if she report to the appropriate authority nothing will be done because corruption everywhere

Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria ( PSN) is the first and oldest professional body in Nigeria. They guide their reputation seriously.
Pharmacy training and practice in Nigeria is highly rigorous and Top notch. Nigerian Pharmacists occupy a prime role of ensuring that the Nigerian health sector didn't and will not collapse. That's why you can hardly ever find substandard made in Nigeria Pharmaceutical products.

As drug experts, they will rather close down their professional practice than push substandard medicines to the public. That's how intense their training guide the way they look at their obligation to their patients and public. If this report is true, PCN will not spare the pharmacy practice License holder

She's not saying the whole truth. She can't be sacked for that. Lies everywhere.

She obviously had issues with her boss, and wanted to get back at her. Since the patient told her the boss has prescribed the same medication previously, she should have get back to her boss before conclusion.

Un any organisation there should be an orientation...before you start work..things like this shouldn't happen..if u feel you are not in agreement after the orientation of the organisational ethics you avoid g the agreement to take the job. Lots of organisation engage in sharp practises to make ends meet.

Your boss employed you to qualify as a Pharmacy Shop. You don't sell drugs where would he get money for your salary?

You did the right thing but this is Nigeria where all is about money!

A hospital in Nigeria recommended CS to a pregnant woman .A doctor midwived the woman and she gave birth to the baby without CS On the following day he was dismissed at work.

Reason : He did not allow the hospital to make money from CS.Where would it get money to pay his salary?

Welcome to Nigeria where a lot of things are fundamentally wrong in theory and practice.
Those that run pharmacy shops and private hospitals are after money not ethics of the profession.

she said her sack was as a result of her not selling a controlled drug that must come from a doctor. If the guy dies same oga will come to the pharmacy and blame the girl for selling it to him. So for your write up makes no sense

I started a weight loss course, like many others — with enthusiasm, plans, reports in a notebook, and even a gym hip. They prescribed a drug that is now being talked about a lot, and I was sure that everything would go smoothly. But despite strict nutrition and discipline, my weight barely moved. It was unsettling. Friends advised me not to bother, but I wanted to understand — why was that? After all, I was doing everything right. I started digging, reading, and one day I came across this article not losing weight on semaglutide https://www.montefioredental.com/reasons-for-not-losing-weight-on-semaglutide-weight-management/, which seemed to be specially written for people like me. It analyzes the real reasons why weight may not decrease while taking semaglutide, and a lot became clearer. It's not just about "eat less — move more." There are points there that doctors don't always talk about during an appointment. After reading it, I adjusted my approach, got additional tests, and, most importantly, the feeling of helplessness went away. I highly recommend it if you are in a similar situation and don't understand what's going wrong.

Oga what are you even saying? She did the right thing by making it public. Now I know how useful or harmful diazepam can be.

You’ll still blame her is anything happens to the patient. Naija self

NAFDAC's clampdown on fake and adulterated products in the South East is being interpreted by some as targeting Igbo businesses. At the same time, many people like you complain that regulators are not living up to their responsibilities. It seems that many of you are either confused or simply being mischievous.

Are you So Sure , you are right and doing the 'Right thing ?
If so why did they place this particular drug under Strict Medical Personnel Recommendations?
Stop being Comic- because this is Not about Pharmacy - Medical tug of War thing ,in Nigeria!
You were Wrong,
Some Medications like the above are to be given through Vetted Notes, from Hospitals and not on hand basis.
Why do we trivialise things in Nigeria- for this is about Safety of Lives not about Political or Professional Supremacy.
That is why we are not Progressively moving forward ⏩ in Nigeria.

this story looks fabricated, how can a pharmacist graduate without license tell his or her boss who is a pharmacist what to do.
this girl do not even have the right to access the poison cupboard not to talk of dispensing Valium until she is fully certified by PCN.
there is more to this story than she is saying, i dont think you can be fired something like this.
ghettochild(m): 1:17pm On May 27
She did right but she wholly did wrong.. u can’t undermine ur boss.
We know Nigeria don’t do drug regulation unlike other countries.
