Every southern governor has done this at some point. Personally, I don't see anything wrong with it. So long as he wasn't using public funds to upgrade his house, but upgrading the road and infrastructure in his community is not bad.

There's been many threads created on his accomplishments and even Abia pdp apologising for years of neglect. Agreed, there are lapses but its expected with years of neglect.

He must have been spiritually advised to stay off the government house for a while. Just thinking because all past governors of the state looted the State dry and the one who handed over to him was a drunkard. He's doing well, may God guide and protect him the People's governor.
