The only issue I have with driving is the body pain. It seems too stressful for my type. That's why I'm doing everything humanly possible to establish other businesses.

It's not something that someone should do for a long time and also, the pain now may come back to hunt in later years.

Bro, our realities are different. I don't know the type of car you use and the condition.

But I must tell you that I net minimum of 40k every day that I go out there to drive the full day.

I got my car as Tokunbo in 2019 and have been using it on the platform since that time.

If you are part of the drivers that sit down under the mango tree to gist when your mates are hustling, or those that go to anywhere belle face, then don't complain when others are making investments with their earnings.

To me, any driver that cannot save ordinary 500k a month should just quit the hustle and go back to his village.

I met one driver at my mechanic workshop who told me that he recently moved to Ikorodu because he couldn't afford rent at Shomolu. This guy said no ehailing driver can afford to live in Shomolu, I spat on his face.

Not only do I live in Shomolu, the estate I bought land and about to develop in Mowe has 40% of the home and land owners as diasporians.

You can continue to sample opinions of your fellow lazy drivers, because as for my type, you won't even see me idle enough to ask any questions

This is what I want to be reading as a newbie, please where in Mowe ? And what price?
Also, do you have a good mechanic that can fix my Corolla 2010 incase any issues ?

Sell ur 3cars. U will have half of the money u need.
Start d business and make 75k daily.
If it is doing well, u will see investors or u get a loan.

It's always easy to talk, na the action dey hard.
Let's see if u will just lounge n 150k enters ur everyday.
Ordinary to manage fleet of 2cars most people say dey no want hypertension. Na multi million naira business u wan do, and u think it will be stressfree?

We need to listen to successfull entrepreneurs tell their stories. We need to read biographies of great men...they aren't soft minded people who complain of pains from sitting down.

Firstly, there's no business idea that hasn't been done by anyone in this life. Sometimes what you need is knowledge and skills and not necessarily more capital.

With your skills and knowledge, you will not be threatened or bothered about anyone stealing it.

I always like the way you jump into conclusions without having idea or knowledge about what you're criticizing, when I say minimum 150k, I know what I'm saying and how do you expect a business of 25m not to be able to generate 150k daily and this is a service provider business and it doesn't need much stress, what you need is a good location and that's what drives the capital high.

well, it doesn't all the time and why I said minimum 150k daily is because of what I have projected for the business to thrive and the location I have in mind, you will definitely make that 150k daily and even more on a productive day..

but I'm 100% certain it will generate at least 150k daily, you employ a manager and 3 subordinates

I bought it in installments at 4.5 million total package.

That land now is selling for 20+ millions, total package for half plot.

The estate is along that Mowe - Ofada road. The Mowe market road.

When I bought it, the road is not that good but now one side of the road is completely tarred down to Ofada. That caused a massive appreciation in the prices of land in that axis. It's a 45 minutes drive from my house in Shomolu.

I don't recommend mechanics, they're all the same Kazeem.

I understand your fears regarding employees but every successful business requires systems and people.

Being self-employed or solo entrepreneur has its limitations, if you want to scale your business you must employ people at a point.

It looks like some people are confusing business investment with actually running a business. The two are completely different.

When you invest in a business, you're mostly providing capital. You don't necessarily have to be involved in the daily operations or decision-making. You're basically putting your money into something and expecting returns.

On the other hand, running a business means you're the one handling everything — from operations to execution. You're responsible for making things work, solving problems, and making sure the business grows. It's a hands-on commitment that requires time, effort, and dedication.

Show us your bank statements. Screen your daily earnings to correlate with your write up , Na so una go dey sell Zobo give us here. Tomorrow somebody will carry 5 milllion Naira and invest in Uber businesses that won't give him expected returns, Abeg stop deceiving people here.

Why will they change the entire AC system?

How did it deteriorate to that level?

I strongly feel that Nigeria have very few competent AC technicians. Any small thing, they change the whole system.

Na wa

You forget we drive everyday for minimum of 10 hours daily. There is no way AC system won't deteriorate

No. an investor can also invest in a business that doesn't require his operations and he will get his capital and interest within a stipulated period, the only risk he's taking is if the business is certain to thrive.

like on shark tanks, people presents their business nitch to them and they either buy it off or invest in it while they take out their money bit by bit and also own part of the company's revenue.

in nutshell investment doesn't really require operations or in decision making by the investor. like the kind of deal we had, you invested in a car but were you involved in the activities that generates revenue through the car? No, so business that requires operations doesn't need day to day involvement or decision making from the investor.

So how many times have you changed your Engine, since it also works 10 hours too?

Nigeria is highly deficient in AC technicians. 99% always recommend a total overhaul. Any small thing, compressor, condenser and evaporator is bad.
