Its difficult to actually explain logic to APC people. But its okay, its expected behavior. You’re making a false equivalence here. Managing a political party under systemic sabotage from state actors isn't the same as handling personal issues. The influence of the ruling government on opposition parties in Nigeria is a well-known fact ignoring that reality oversimplifies the situation. Genuine leadership isn't about pretending external threats don’t exist; it’s about recognizing them and responding strategically. ability doesn't mean silence in the face of sabotage. Let’s be honest about the playing field.
Prior to 2015, the main opposition didn’t dwell on the ruling party’s influence or sabotage; instead, they concentrated on their objectives, organized effectively, strategized, and performed well at the polls.

Who sponsored Apapa the wannabe hungry man claiming to be LP Chairman shortly after the election? It's also genuine leadership that sponsored him
Tinubu is scared of Obi and opposition, so he is squandering your meager nation's treasury buying politicians and political actors.
Listen, knowing how to play Nigeria's dirty politics of bribery, thuggery, voodooism and whatnot does not make you a good leader.
Tinubu being ruthless in using state resources and institutions to be buying politicians and political actors to his side and to destabilize opposition does not make him a good leader, it only makes him a good Kingpin.
Nigeria doesn't need a ruthless Kingpin, what we need is a humane leader that cares about others, ready to make sacrifices to reposition Nigeria for greatness, not a corrupt kingpin ready to go any length to capture the entire state and destroy every opposing voices.
Peter Obi is the man to deliver Nigeria and haters of Nigeria like you know this but wickedness, tribalism and pettiness wont let you people have sense and what is right.
This doesn’t answer the question
Nigeria is much more complex than all political parties put together. How is Obi going to tackle Nigeria and its multifaceted problems if he can’t handle a small political party?

What’s the false equivalence here? Would you promote someone who’s currently underperforming in their job to a higher position? By the way, I’m not against you or your interests—I want the opposition to improve, take responsibility, and hold the government able. But how can that happen if they can’t even get their own house in order?

How can Peter Obi deliver Nigeria with all that "naivety" ... between 2023 n 2025 what strategic move as Peter obi made that shows he can get his politics right
Maybe if we are in a Saner clime, Peter Obi stand a chance but checking the peculiarity and politics we play in Nigeria Peter Obi can never Win
I am glad you know Tinubu is a ruthless kingpin, to displace a man like that requires doing the unthinkable, we have to think outside the Box, all that messiah bullshit is just a delusion
Republicans had to bring Trump that lose to democrat back to recover it, I strongly believe only Jonathan from the south tick all the boxes to displace Tinubu/Apc. only him has just 4yrs good for all sides

How can you blame the failure of a party with no structure on an outsider.
The success of LP is in the will of the ers who unfortunately haven't received any / structure from the party.
2 yrs after "loosing" the election and not even a party chairman let alone a workable strategy to go into the next election cycle.

It is immature and naive for Obi to keep blaming opposition for what is going on within his own party.

Dem no born Bitter Obi well to try such in fact if it were him we would still be on the stage of "preparing the ground" to do that while we continue to borrow mo ey to pay salaries and paying subsidy on dollar for the round robin of buying hundreds of thousands of dollars from the bank at N400 per dollar as "investors" or NEXT super market owners Peter Obi under the pretext of buying imported goods and "raw materials" but then turn around or drive straight to Aboki-dollar to sell most of it if not all of it at N800 per dollar and the same goes for so-called forex trader. So government will be paying subsidy of 400 for nothing and rice will be priced low but workers do not get salary to buy it despite the low price. That's the economy we were running before Tinubu and daft and shallow minded people like Peter Obi and his hoebidents think it's cool.

Have you ask your self why it's difficult for INEC to take immediate position on the court ruling. Today it's the caretaker faction, tomorrow INEC is recognising the candidates standing for local elections from the Abure faction.
Why is the courts not giving a clear court judgement rather given one with lacuna that gives room to multiple interpretation to interested parties.

Once you become Nigeria's President, you can do and undo if you decide to. Goodluck Jonathan was a good man that decided not to use all the Presidential power available to him which Pa Tinubu is using now to the extreme to destabilize every opposition and to buy every buyable Nigerian politician and cashvitists.
If you position yourself very well through proper media visibility as an opposing voice, Tinubu will send his boys to approach you with two options; and get this or refuse and be dealt with, so depending on your integrity and past records, it will be left for you to decide whether to them and get some benefits or refuse and get decimated using state mercenaries and institutions

When this government started with blaming PDP, we all were up in arms against them saying that is the height of irresponsibility! Now "our Lord and Saviour" is bleeding same and here we are up in arms again but this time to DEFEND HIM.
See the problem is, going by your submission, Obi hasn't articulated any proactive steps he has taken as party leader-not one in addressing his party crisis.
At every sight of crisis he bails!
This cry baby of a man is not to be trusted with leadership responsibilities because twitter rhetorics won't cut it.
Was it government interference that made him bolt from APGA?
Was it also government interference that made him bolt from PDP?
The likes of Wike hate him or like him have been tested as one to take on challenges head on from when he stood his ground for Amaechi in the courts to demanding that justice be done within his party not this one that knows all the problems, knows who causes all the problems but is bereft of any solutions.
The questions that won't go away is if you can't even take responsibility for issues within your party not to even talk of solving them then why should you be trusted with a higher responsibility!
If Cosmas Maduka says "ahh it's not a level playing field out there, I could have been richer than Dangote". Even if we don't agree, we will hear him out because he is a billionaire in every right. That compensates for that his complain! Conversely, Obi is like Blackface of defunct Plantashun boys who keeps complaining about Tuface "stealing" the Song African but has not one hit song after all the complain.
Abeg make we hear word

Tinubu, against all odds, including rifts in his own party, became President and now has the power. None , only in Nigeria u celebrate people with criminal records and shady backgrounds

Honestly you don't know what it means to be the President of Nigeria, there are uncountable things at your disposal that you can use to stabilize or destabilize whatever you wish to.
LP is not a ruling party. LP only came to limelight because of Peter Obi.
Peter Obi is the kind of leader Nigeria needs, a politician who doesn't believe in using money to convince people to do what is right, and that is the problem LP are having with him; they expect him to be doling out money to them at will, Obi that I know will never do that and that is why we well meaning Nigerians that want the best for all Nigerians are ing Obi.
If a politician spend his personal billions to get to power, it is common sense to expect him to use every method to recoup his investment because he is not an NGO.
Bola Tinubu is a big spender when it comes to politics and that was why he used every despicable means to hold on to Lagos state and her treasury which he used to buy his way to Aso Rock, Obi have a different principle and that is what Nigeria needs.
At least if Obi doesn't spend his trillions and becomes President, he has no singular reason to loot or to compromise, and he has said this several times.
If the President does not steal, his wife, children, relatives doesn't steal, his appointees will be scared and careful of stealing.
Knowing how to play Nigeria's dirty politics of throwing money, using thugs, using juju or voodoo and bribing every bribable person does not make you a good leader and Nigeria don't need such a politician. We need someone that doesn't even know how to play Nigeria's dirty politics, we cannot continue to do the same thing over and over and still be expecting different results.
Tinubu being a political master also means wasting of our common resources and working with corrupt people who will never allow him make good policies because of their personal interests which to them supercedes our collective national interest, you guys hailing Tinubu as a political master should know this by now
Toh. Stop trying then. Tinubu don carry opposition dey go where him like. Face your life

All these bunch of failures called opposition are very sick, weak and lazy to face their own orchestrated challenges.
How many of them Tinubu invited to come and solve his own party problems for him when the man was contesting APC primary....all the presidential aspirants got their ticket easily, it was only Tinubu that got his own through a resilient and hard effort.
Now you want Tinubu to solve your party problems for you towards a future context between you and him...who does that, Mr Obi?

I don't want to believe this because, if you can't solve the problem in a party and instead shift the blame on external forces, how do you want to solve Nigeria's problem where so many forces are constantly opposing your policies?
They will form Boko. If you try to tackle Boko, they will tell you that you are killing northerners and will oppose your 2nd term election. If you try to force your way, you will be guilty of being autocratic which you have been accusing others of doing.
