Obi should not waste his social capital as he stated numerous times he is not desperate to be president, Tinubu bested Atiku in the North in 2023, he would repeat same. The same Northerners saw Atiku & RedCap on the ballot and still voted in large number for Tinubu, what has changed? Moreoso Atiku & PDP have become more diminished.

The Obidient calc in 2023 was Atiku & Redcap will run up the numbers in core North, It did not happen, doubt it will happen in 2025, If I was Obi, I would run as the head of the ticket - his popularity has not dimished, he's more visible and experienced, 2027 isn't time to play 2nd fiddle - luckily for him his southern voters are not easily swayed by their governors.
